cloudkill is level 5, that would mean you would have to be able to cast a level 11 spell.

The highest level persistant spells would be level 3.

I'd like persistent spell for lvl 2 and 1 spells at least. Or maybe a quad extend spell?
No, no, you misunderstood. Valefort says "persistent", but he does not mean "neverending" (even because we have no Persistent Spell feat on BGTSCC, it's been disabled): he means "damage-over-time" spells. Clouds and walls that remain in play for more than one round. This includes Delayed Blast Fireball, which does not work with MoS.

Despite this big but necessary limitation, MoS is a good feat to take.

I seriously dont get why MoS works with fireball but not with Delayed Blast Fireball.
its not like DBF is doing anything before detonating (like wall of fire or similar spells do)

So is there a reason?
