It might be 25% but it is certainly slashing. Never had any reduction on my short sword wielding rogue or on my warhammer wielding fighter.

A longbow with bludgeoning damage and high mighty property.

Aestethical: Dwaxe
Mechanical: Dwaxe (no cleave glitch due to reach as I recall)

they are only pretty when you compare them to the dwarf that is carrying it.
