Mr. Mudd looks perplexed for a while, then addresses the man.
"It is really nice to hear you are trustworthy customer, mister...."
Hangs voice, apparently awaiting a name of the customer. Then speaks on.
"However, the boots you are inquiring about are already sold again. Paid and collected. The necklace is still for sale. What would you offer for it?"

The man chuckles softly, saying "The sign is a touch confusing, lad. I'll offer 15 bags for the necklace."

Mr. Mudd amends the ledger.
"Your opening bid of 15 000 gold coins for the necklace which toughens skin is noted. It will be yours if noone counters. Under what name should I put the bid?"

Mr. Mudd removes the necklace from the stall, slightly surprised that nobody countered such opportunistic bid.
"Master Thorne, I sent a word to Master Koba recommending him that he sells you the necklace for the pre-negotiated price of 15 000 gold coins."

Mr Mudd seems a little surprised. He looks to the auction rules clearly posted in front of the wares to check if they are as clear as he remembers them to be.
"Dear customer, it is an auction and its rules state that the buyers are offering bids. Hence, I am in no position to give you a price in my client's name. I can assure you that Master Koba is not greedy, though. So place your bid and indicate whether it is a regular or a buy-out offer."

Koba delivers to Mr. Mudd new items for sale (updated as on 13 Eleint, Year of the Crown 1351 DR).
Upon hearing about that Krieg cusomter insisting upon a sale price instead of bidding he says "It's ten thousand danters and you may sell that sword without asking me further or waiting for any counteroffer".
Mister Mudd passes that decision to Krieg at the nearest occassion.

"Ah, I was forced to break my last wand a few days ago. How fortunate that you have this in stock. I offer 2,500 gold for this wand."

A dark robed man looks over the new items. "I'll pay 20 bags for that helm." He points to the helm that boosts Wisdom.

Mr. Mudd nods and says "The last 3 bids are duly noted."
He turns to Miss GoodHeart "I'll need to consult Master Koba if he agrees for the price offered for the wand, but I am sure he will be reasonable."
Then he speaks to Mister Seven and the dark robed man "Regarding the other items, they will soon be yours if there is no counteroffer"
He speaks with a sigh, mumbling to himself something about subdued demand in uncertain times.
Finally, he thinks about asking the name of the dark robed man, but after slight hesitation decides otherwise. Instead, he goes back to unpacking a new delivery from Master Koba.
