A human rogue, hooded and with his characteristics concealed as much as possible, takes advantage of all the commotion and pickpockets anyone that seems a good mark.

Re: Baldur's Gate / North 1351 Campaign Thread
Akeldama plodded through the alleys and main ways of the city's crowded harbor at sun down, idly lost in her thoughts as she searched every face and listened for signs of illness. Previously she took to the crowds in broad daylight and played the part of a harsh, doom calling evangelist, but that might as well have been another day and age as it had been three years since her primary shift in method.
Her spine bristled for the briefest of moments as memories of fearful faces and hateful stares tugged on the back of her mind.
To any who approached her with need that evening she placed her hands upon them and they were healed, they who had the cough and sought relief were cured. Those who had passed away from illness, taken before their time, were prayed over with an offer to rise again to renewed life.
Those who sought blessings and drank from the priestess' cup left that place gleaming with a holy light; light that filled the night time streets with an unsaid message: Umberlee's faithful were here.

Endelyon spent most of her afternoon standing on the steps that led up to the Merchant's League building, and watching the traffic in the streets with a bit of a listless expression, obviously concerned at the rumors and the various commotion the spread of the disease was causing. Occasionally she lost herself in her thoughts as she smoked from a short-stemmed pipe, a curious sight perhaps for any who knew her well.
Eventually she would turn to enter the Merchant's League once more, spending several hours inside before heading to the Blushing Mermaid for a drink.

Re: Baldur's Gate / North 1351 Campaign Thread
Nëa goes to Aello and buys/order new clothes in all sizes for a combined sum of 20000 gold. She then goes to the Sorcerous Sundries to buy/request Cure Disease potions for a combined sum of 30000 gold. She asks that these are delievered to her at the Order of Lions as soon as they can be.
Once/if delievered, she takes all she can carry, puts on a facial mask and goes into the sewers to offer clothes and potions to any of the people there afflicted by the plague. She collects their old clothes in a new bag and takes them up to the surface, where she burns them near the river. She shoves the ashes into the water once it's all properly burned.
She herself of course wears disposable clothes that she also burns with the others. She keeps a potion of Cure Disease for herself in case the plague gets past her facial mask.
She repeats this as often as she can.
// If this is acceptable, a DM can remove 50000 gold from Nëa.

The Sisters at the Temple of Illmater seem overworked and have been asking for any aid in the form of supply's that can be spared. Healing supply's, food, and clothing would be accepted.

Shipments of goods to and from Kraak Helzak are being turn away, word has reach the dwarves of the outbreak within the gate.
Militia dwarves tell any caravaneers they will not be allowed to come to the dwarven city until the epidemic has ended.

Though the Song of the Morning is occupied with it's own local issues, the news of the plague brings about the dour countenance of both clergy and templar alike. A caravan makes the long journey north to the Ilmateri Sanctuary in Baldur's Gate on behalf of the temple, given the distance and their own mission it is likely all that can be offered from it's allies in the south. Beneath the leathery tarp of the horse-drawn cart are crates of fresh fruit and vegetables from the temple's own fields, along with a number of healing poultices concocted by the Dawnpriests.

Re: Baldur's Gate / North 1351 Campaign Thread
After a short chat with Ivan the Druid and Sister Adolina, Endelyon left the Temple of Ilmater, heading towards the East district's market. An hour or so later, she would return, followed by two porters, one carrying a large wooden box and the other a smaller one. The first would be filled with close to a hundred cloth masks, appearing new and never worn. Though the masks were quite simple in appearance, they were clean and functional.
The second box would contain several wooden toys; dolls and toy soldiers and things of that nature, mostly. She would offer Adolina a warm smile as the second porter set the toys down. "In case you have to house any children who have been afflicted," she would explain, making a slight motion to them.
After dropping the goods off the small woman left the temple once more, glancing towards the infirmary door with a more than slightly worried expression as she stepped outside.
(( Following DG's example, if this RP is acceptable I am more than willing to have whatever amount of coin the DMs deem appropriate for the purchase of these masks and toys from Endelyon's inventory. If there is any problem with this RP, please let me know. ))

The next morning, an Extra Edition of the Baldur's Gate Herald would be make its way into the hands of the citizens, being distributed free of charge by street urchins throughout the city.

A caravan from Nashkel follows the traveled path of the Song of the Morning's own as word travels further south. To the temple of Ilmater it brings salt-cured lamb, bedrolls, along with other means for makeshift infirmaries and what alchemical healing supplies High Priest Jaumet Ubina would spare to the cause from the House of the Guardian's reverse. The Watchknight leading the caravan would pass on the following note to the one in charge of leading the efforts against the plague, simply reading as follows.
A tourniquet is needed to stop the taint of a festering limb spreading to the heart. Should the means of a quarantine be required, we will come.
Helm's guidance,
Sveta Asperan
Head Watchknight of the Everwatch

After talking to several concerned ctizens and travelers about the rumors, situation in the docks and about the possible plague, Roric picks up his sign in East Gate and makes his way to Palace District with haste. The helmite heads straight to Temple of The Shield with a concerned look on his rugged face.

Re: Baldur's Gate / North 1351 Campaign Thread
One-Eye Floatstone appears in the Eastern Farmlands on this day, a large cotton sack filled with items recently acquired on his adventures by foot, his intentions—easily read upon his face—being to bring this wares into the Gate and dispose of them through short or long sales. His legs seem now well practiced in the art of walking the land, though remaining bent enough to be always ship shape. He stops for a time at the campfire in the farmlands, where many things can be learned.
A chorus of rumor and publication assault his senses as he arrives to the eastern lands outside of the cities' fortifications. After hearing what is being transmitted, One-Eye continues on but stops short of the East Gate, dropping his large satchel to the ground at his feet, close and next to where a sturdy and unwavering Flaming Fist soldier is ever on duty. With wide and broad nostrils, he takes a breath of the air. Then slightly snorts.
He turns to the Fist soldier, then, addressing him as if He, the soldier, was the herald to all that his passing for news: "Ye telling me word be that some foul sickness has arrived and distributes itself among the people? Ye telling me that more flock into the Gate, with some daft thought that they are either immune or are bearers of a source of cure? Ye telling me that the magistrates have yet to act in any official way, not even a warning, such that protects either the citizen or the adventurer, from what may be a horrifying death? Did you say a warlock's crypt?!?"
"Bah!" says the gruff dwarf, and with a head full of sense, turns upon his heal, fat bag of wares re-slung over his shoulder, and pounds feet toward the next caravan to depart for anywhere but...a supposed plague-ridden city.
When One-Eye learns that dwarves from the northern clan of Kraak Helzak are baring caravans and goods in this time of plague, he smiles. "Never doubt a stouts foresight!"
One-Eye seeks out any dwarven militia for guidance on how to make contact—or way—to the northern clan...with intention to find safe haven before death arrives in number upon the open trade routes....

Felcienne makes her way to the temple of Ilmater , nose and mouth covered by a stylish breather mask, with the intention of speaking to brother Marcus. After some brief pleasantries she says
"Dear brother Marcus, have you shared the cure with the other temples? It occurs to me this plague may spread and you will need the extra help. The largest temples in the city are, of course, the Hall of Wonders, Her Lady's House, and the Watchful shield. Other temples like the one dedicated to Tempus should also be passed the cure. "
Intending on delivering the knowledge, formula, and samples herself as applicable to those four temples and any others Marcus may recommend himself.

Prayers are conducted and potions imbibed to cleanse the travellers of any contagion.
They then travel by magic to near Nashkel, and buy all the healing supplies readily available in that town.
They try to do the same in Gullykin after a trek there. It does not meet with as much success. The group decides to quench its thirst, however; despite the unsuitable furnishings in the local tavern.
Finally the group returns to Baldur's Gate, laden down with healing supplies fit to potentially heal four hundred and fifty souls, if properly administered. The supplies are used to restock the temple of Ilmater.

Thank-you for the RP those that came!
