After being outbid by one of her kinsfolk for the magnificent cloak the blue robed priestess leaves the stall and wanders off up the street.

She returns some time later and places a jewellery case before the dwarves and opens it for their perusal. Inside is an amulet of similar make to one already in their stock.

"Considering you already have an significant offer for one of these by one of those present, would you think it to be worth an equivalent amount?" she politely asks the dwarves. "If so, that will be my new bid for this cloak."

Upon hearing that such an amazing cloak is for sale Maxwell sends a man into the city to place a bid on his behalf.

"That's right, 500,000 assorted coins the dwarf named Maxwell said for that fancy lookin' cape you have." The man would gesture to the +4 int cape making this bid quite clear.

The blonde-haired elf turns to watch the messenger bidding on Maxwell's behalf and emits a sigh of despondency.

"I have no counter offer to make except what I have already made. I suspect it will no longer suffice," she says with a courteous bow to both the merchants and Maxwell's messenger and wanders off to her stall by the Eastern Gate where she busies herself in other duties.

Following her routine morning walk along the docks of the gate, appreciating it's sights and smells - particularly more so with the depletion of the plague - Cecilia branches out to soon discover the Grand Sale commencing from the back of the wagon. Intrigued, she steps closer, her purple cloak billowing out behind her with the approach. After gazing with no small wonder over the items displayed, she approaches the dwarves and bows with fist over heart.

"I greet you, Master Dwarves." the blonde woman greets with a warm expression, gloved fingers flowing loosely through the air in the direction of the wares. "You have an utterly splendid variety of items, I must say. There are two in particular which have caught my attention, however. This rather exquisite shield. . ." she gestures to the appropriate piece with an appraising nod. "And the belt that seems quite strong in it's weave. I would offer you respectively, one hundred bags for the former and fifty for the latter."

Cecilia smiled warmly, clasping her hands neatly behind her back as she waited for their response.

An air genasi walks up to see the wares, being amazed by the display. After about half an hour of inspection and thinking, he places some bids. "Master dwarves, these items took my heart. What do you say about my starting bids?" He then stares at both dwarves in alternance.

Any with affinity to the Druidic powers, or knowledge skills well trained, would recognize the artifact the one-eye dwarf offers as: Ring of Woodland Power: WIS +3; Spell Resistance 22; Druid Level 5

In addition, the one-eyed dwarf makes a mention—and an offer—for a ring on display, such that enables a more dextrous skill. The offer is 200,000 value in coin for the Ring (Ring +3 DEX, +2 Reflex Saves, +1 Hide, +1 Move Silently)

The three dwarves may or may not barter further....
"Ye have an interesting ring, a valuable trade asset. However, it is not comparable to the item ye wish to procure from the trade. We do need to see the bid substantially raised to take an interest. As for the ring, we would accept a 300.000 coin offer as fair.".
