We still don't know exactly what LittleFinger is up to. He says something, he does something towards it, but is it REALLY what he's up to? ...It's seriously hard to know. :D

And Stannis, it's been a... VERY long while since I've read the last book RR Martin wrote, but I don't remember a ending in the north war yet. Perhaps the burning of who you know is for the 6th book.

I didn't particularly enjoy last 2 seasons, sadly. To me, the magic is gone. It is no longer gritty & grounded as it had stopped following the world's logic and there's much more typical TV logic with each episode.

Like, for example Ramsay and his 20 men destroying ALL SUPPLIES of Stannis' army overnight.
Or the whole plot of Jamie Lannister this season.

Cersei and The Faith Millitants plot is very good, albeit the drama feels a bit forced.
I really like Daenerys this season, I bet her Targaryen heritage will shine in its full insane glory.
Watching Arya is a bore. There is no intrigue or cleverness to her plot, just bluntness, stubborness and stupidity. She doesn't feel like a matured or seasoned character like she was in previous seasons. Followers of the Many-Faced God are kinda cool though.

As far as happenings in the North are concerned:
Stannis is completely disinteresting, he doesn't drive the story forward, despite all the focus on him and his quest for the Throne. He is a nominal figure in the show and none of his actions leave any impact on others' storylines.
Jon Snow sucks. Always morally correct, successful in everything he does, despite being a stubborn yougster in the first few seasons. I wouldn't call it a character arc, I'd call that a Mary Sue.
White Walkers threat is portrayed in a very intimidating way and I'm really looking forward to more scenes with them.
The Wild Folk's numbers are never accounted for and thus it is left up to the director to crank up or lower the stakes with every scene. Their deaths feel artificial and drama feels too forced to be actually sympathetic of them.
They are like orcs in LotR movies.

I actually really like the Wildlings.

Mance was a favorite of mine and his scenes with Stannis are some of the best in the show. Both those actors, inspite of their characters, are really top notch.

Regarding characters left, I have always liked Tormand and he has been the one character arc acting as a saving grace this season, at least for me.

Anyone hoping Lady Stoneheart and the Brotherhood without Banners show up in the last episode?

Wow. What a great episode. Besides some corny acting and sub-par digital effects, I was fully entertained.

Overall it felt as if far too many storylines were crammed into each episode of this Season. But what I am enjoying is the return of more "magic" aspects to the World. And I hope that ramps up to even more in the coming and last 2 Seasons.

weeeeeeeeeell saw that one coming.

about the spoiler that I mentioned last week
Hidden: show
Melisandre is going to raise Jon from the dead next season. That is basically guaranteed since the actor has recently renewed his contract all the way up to season 7 along with a bunch of other stars. Leave it to the business side of the tv show to spoil it. Also this almost certainly means he's not staying dead in the books either. And to think there were people who actually believed Jon was ded in the books.

Disappointing ending for a dull season.

Not even seeing Lena Headey naked helped improve my opinion of this season.

To be fair, that was probably the best scene this season.

I find the Faith Rising plot to be the coolset one as well. Although it's a shame they had to cut corners and most of the stuff seemed to have happened offscreen.
