Zakn'Atar spends most of his time inside the School of Necromancy where he conducts alchemy tests and vile experiments. He finally takes a break from his studies and heads towards the Gloura's Wing for a much deserved glass of wine.
On his way there, he stumbles upon the commotion and standing close to the other mages, he listens their conversation. The idea of gathering fresh components peaks his interest so he finally decides to step in.
"Vendui" he says and bows his head to the those gathered
"I would like to join you in this... endeavor. No payment is necessary but a i will ask for a fair share of the components gathered"

"Gathering components?" Nawiel asks with a delightful suprise." An outing into the wilds to harvest the drymoss and fungi ink?" She lets the question linger in the air, leaving the next one unasked. But to put a little bit focus on herself and the question that she left out, she starts walking a card over her knuckles.
Chance have the card as 'The Fool', written in thick, bold letters. This little detail goes unoticed by Nawiel herself.

The male with the silver mohawk eyes those gathered with a bemused expression which turns into a small grin as he hears Woediirs words. As Zakn'Atar approaches he offers the male Faern an uneasy nod, recognizing the male from the Magthere of Necromancy.
He acknowledges Woediir's remark with a nod, along with Nawiel's and notices the card being thumbed though he does not recognize what it is. He stares at it briefly then speaks to the assembled.
"You may join Woediir, if you wish, but since both yourself and Zakn'Atar have mutual vested interest in what I seek, as the Faern has stated, no payment will be coming your way. You.."He turns to the silent female (grymhild) "...will enjoy only partial payment due to your interest in what my research will provide. If we are agreeable that is..." Finally, his gaze rests on Nawiel and her cards, nodding "Component research and retrieval, well, at least one component, the one I need. We journey for the eyes of the basilisk. I will not say no if you wish to join but if you have a need for those eyes as well, no plakla shall flow from my pockets to you."

*Sitting at a table alone with a glass of mushroom wine and her nose in her spell book, Faern Shynt'Riina would glance up at the group as they speak of the quest. A slight grin crosses her lips as she looks over at her school mate of Necromancy, Zakn'Atar over the top of her glasses as he announces his interest as well.
After a long sip of her wine and said while swirling the glass with an inquisitive grin she decides to speak up in her smooth buttery voice.*
I shall join this expedition to observe. I want nothing from it or dos... *said as her gaze travels to Nymrath with a grin* I have a few new spells I wish to try out. *with that said she looks back down in her spell book to study some more.*

Nawiel hesitates, as she listen at the clear interest in this undertaking. "I have no need for Basilisk eyes, but the drymoss is found along the tunnels towards their domain. Truth be told, it is not a strictly true observation on it's name. It only feels dry, but moisture is needed for it to grow. Either way, I could use a pinch of it. I'll just follow you, if only to keep the diviner from putting on her mask. She have such a wonderful, mobile face. It is a shame to have it covered up."
She adds a conspiratorical wink to the diviner in question. "As it is, I would still like for her to have a look at the divinational possibility of these cards. They have already read the past, present and future of the good Svirfneblin, Tall One."

Having stood in silence watching the others arrive, the masked jalil finally steps to the side away from the crystal merchant to make room for another customer and suddenly speaks, her voice carrying a pleasant almost musical quality, despite her mask and the din of the crowded marketplace
"For those of you who Ive naut had the pleasure of meeting before," her crimson eyes pausing for a moment on each person, "I'm called Irraena of the Magthere of Magery."

Nymrath nods slowly, almost cautiously, to Shynt'Riina "Very well then Faern". His gaze lingers with her momentarily before looking at Irraena and nodding with her introduction. He then speaks, as Woediir and Nawiel looks at the cards.
"We are as settled as we will be then. A collaboration in the name of the Art. Seems we need slay three of the deadly beasts. Or more, if we somehow destroy their eyes in the process. We set out in two cycles (Friday at 1700 GMT). If any have objections to the time, speak now. Prepare your spells for your preservation. We will meet outside of Inn."

Nawiel looks up from the cards as Nymrath speaks. "That time does not at all hold for my schedual. Would an earlier time be at all possible, or mayhaps even the next cycle?" Her eyes keep darting towards Irraena, wondering if they have met before. Masks being what they are, it is near impossible to tell if they have been introduced or not.
(Too close to my night shift, I'm free on Saturday and partly on Sunday though)

"I will be available for the next several cycles. Contact me at the School of Magery when you've decided the particulars."
"Aluve.'"
The masked Jalil then makes her way back to her Magethere.
My schedule is fairly open on Friday and Saturday, but I have plans on Sunday, so just let me know when.

Arch a brow at Nawiel's comment about masks while looking at her then cracks up in a lewd smile as she nods at the pulled card "I can see the similarities, pretty obvious really once you really look for them".
She nods politely at Nawiel, Nymrath and the necromancers. "At your insistance then, faern and faernil aluve".
Giving the receeding figure of Irraena a glance before sauntering into the Bazaar proper.
//Unfortunately the weekend is really bad for me irl since I'll do three work shifts then before going on summer vacation. Go ahead without her if there are no earlier solution.

The young Faern watches the two walk off, staring at the nearest skull and nodding.
//How about thursday at 1700 GMT?

Nawiel watches tha diviner walk away with a bemused expression.
"There goes my entertainment." She turns back to the group.
"Give notice with the reception of the 7th Circle, when you are leaving. I will know better if I have the time for pleasure over business then." And with a delicate finger wave, she lifts her foot and marches down the street. A strange sight, when done in form hugging robes.
(Too late for me, again by my rl schedual. But, as Storm Munin, you need not wait for me.

I'l be around, but won't have time for lenghty play until the weekend)

The young drow, noticing the arrangements, nods to himself. Then says softly to himself "We will see what we can with this cycle, then prepare more for the next cycle."
With that, he walks towards his Magthere, running through the spells in his grimoire.

The young Faern of Illusion, Nymrath Urlbrak, could be seen busily running around the stalls of the Dark Weavings Bazaar, gathering spell components. The low light from the skull let him know the time was almost upon him. Earlier that cycle he corresponded with the Seer Woedeiir...

...whom divined the mission would be a success. He left not trusting her, of course, but prepared as best he could anyhow. Nervous, and pacing, he awaited the arrival of the other apprentices. He thought himself abandoned at first. The other apprentices were probably laughing at him and mocking him as he stood there waiting alone. Then came along the Yinglin Merin and he relaxed just a bit easier. Roaming the tunnels always seemed easier with this one. Shortly thereafter the Faern Irraena arrived as well, who paid a rothe by the name of Kunk to be her body guard for this venture.

The two Faern discussed spell usage, tactics, locations and scouting. Analyzing every course of action and every worst case scenario as wizards are known to do. Faern Irraena handed an enchanted wand to Merin. Should things not go as planned, that wand would be their salvation.
Once prepared the foursome left the mythal of Sshamath and delved the depths of the Underdark seeking the nest of the Basilisk. Merin took point, gliding along the cavern walls seeming to almost take strength from it. Nym traveled next followed by the rothe guarding his employer. Passed Varalla's and further into the wild they roamed.

When at last they came upon the lair, under the cover of illusion they advanced on the beast. With the two warriors watching closely, Faern Irraena put a geis on the enormous lizard, rendering it immobile. With deft speed, Nym approached and withdrew the silver scalpel as directed by Shynt'Riina of the Necromancy school. His hand shaky, he silently berated her for abandoning him to this task. But it was his task and he steeled himself and made the cut.

Moments felt like eternity as he slipped the scalpel within the socket, chanting as he did. He brought forth the conservation spell taught to him. He had no time to fear the basilisks reaction and focused on the task at hand. As the scalpel slide free of the last tendon, his voice boomed with the conclusion of the spell. Taking a momentary pause, he looked within his palm to find the petrified but still warm eye of the beast.

Smiling triumphantly, he motioned for the warriors to kill the monster, no longer caring about it's well being. 'THIS IS IT!' He thought excitedly. 'The last piece....FINALLY'

A skull-masked Jaluk walks the city's streets in search of two faern from the school of necromancy. A keen observer may recognize him as a necromantic knight.
Earlier, the school's guards told him both left the school about a cycle ago and didn't come back yet. They also gave him a vague description of Zakn'Atar and Shynt'Riina.
