Just some examples of how I've used some of the bard songs...

Curse song - any time more than one enemy is nearby...Great song!

Haven song - great escape song if you are overmatched or get swarmed by too many enemies. Also a decent song to get you through tough area transitions when doing weekly quests. Perhaps not as reliable as invisibility with mobs above your CR, but I never had an issue with it working (possibly due to the DC bug previously mentioned).

Fascinate never did much for me, but cloud mind can be nice in certain circumstances, even used it in rp once to great effect! Ironskin chant is nice to hit just before taking on a boss (anyone know if this stacks with.DR from ghostly visage)? I also once used countersong on an ally in an event where the end battle wad with a beholder, though the recipient ran away so not sure how well they were protected, really would get a ton of use if the song worked on yourself instead of only allies, but I suppose bards really don't need a boost in power like that.

Chord doesn't have song of heroism our legionairs March yet but it's easy to see where they bring benefit... How many classes can boost there dodge ac, which stacks up to +20, I believe? Bard songs are awesome because some of them are good for grinding, some for escape/survival, and others are very cool rp tools, many are good for all three! Have fun Zanniej!

Most of us do melee or archer bard builds, but do not discount what you can do with a CHA maxed caster bard with spellcasting prodigy and bardsong focus.
