I wonder, could Divine Preserverence be replaced with the Spirit Shaman contignent heal ability?

Divine Preserverence does not work if you hit -10 HP as you die.
Spirit shaman's contignent ability waits until -10 HP then heals you instead of letting you get fugued.

It also heals for a much more substantial amount, enough for you not to insta die upon getting healed (150 HP, could be scaled down to just 50)

That is a good suggestion.

Such a change would surely widen the amount of build reasons to opt for Divine Seeker.
It opens up the field for dump stat CHA while still getting a significant boost to a life or death situation.

Maybe I am nutz but I kind of like the current way of the class where for once the charisma stat make a difference in a roguish build.

Maybe it can be altered to depend on cha bonus (charisma mod * 10-20 HP, with +5 HP guaranteed?).

The simply copy paste suggestion was to reduce work load.

Yeah such feature is not a selling point for any class. Some players just kinda... not die

Bingo. Its nice to have, but if you are relying on consistently falling between -1 and -9 health, then you may want to reconsider your build.

The majority of the time I die I don't even enter the bleeding out stage.

After taking this class, getting this feat, and dying a couple of times, I can confirm that Divine Preserverence is beyond useless. I wouldn't even notice if it got cut from the class in favor of spellcasting progression. Editing the first post to reflect this change.

But it is a pretty fun feat regardless and you are exaggerating, divine perserverance can save you once in a while.

Try not to die so much seawied, it cant be amusing.

In all humbleness how about suggesting a new prestige class offering whatever you seek Seawied, instead of destroying a lore based one you think lack umph?

You obviously do not like the class Divine Seeker as is, so why not ask for something like a Sacred Agent (Divine Agent already being in existence) prestige class offering anything you really want in it?

So my total death count since I picked up the feat has hit 9. The number of times it's triggered? 0. As I said: useless.

Also, I reject your notion that my suggestions would "Destroy a lore-based class." You are being dramatic. This class was designed for pen-and-paper. Making changes to increase the power of a class or decrease it to fit an online version of D&D is not "destroying the class." I originally suggested 3 changes. I stand by 2 of them. High BAB, and a modified duration of sacred stealth. I also stand behind someone else's suggestion for the divine preservation is triggered on death as opposed to bleedout.

None of these "Destroy the class". They do not change the spirit of the class, they do not change the purpose of the class, and they will not make the class overpowered.

On DP. Did you cast it before you bled out? I died once despite its ability to save me because I didn't know you need to activate the feat once/rest

So it doesn't work automagically like the spirit shamans version? And only works if you actually hit -1? That seems wrong as this type of feature is already working for another class. Any reason why this class should just have the very much working spirit shaman version?

Our version is already NOT to lore..

I say our version does need a boost after trying it for the last few weeks, far better to work in Rogue if you like trap removal, or not a trapper any other class <including BFZ>.
Sanctuary (Sp): Once per day a divine seeker can ward herself with a sanctuary spell.
This spell like ability is far less powerful and dip worthy than SD Hips

Divine Seeker AND BFZ both need a little bump love while the big update bug fixes are still allowing 100% RCR.
Divine Seeker:

Class Features

All the following are class features of the divine seeker prestige class. All of the divine seeker's spell-like abilities function as if cast by a cleric with a caster level of the divine seeker's class level plus her Charisma bonus.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Divine seekers gain proficiency in all simple weapons and light armor.

Sanctuary (Sp): Once per day a divine seeker can ward herself with a sanctuary spell.

Thwart Glyph: a divine seeker gains a +4 bonus on all Search and Disable Device checks to locate, disable, or bypass magical glyphs, runes, and symbols.

Sacred Defense: Add this bonus (+1 at 2nd level, +2 at 4th level) to the divine seeker's saving throws against divine spells, as well as the spell-like and supernatural abilities of outsiders.

Sneak Attack: As the rogue's ability. This stacks with any sneak attack ability from another class.

Locate Object (Sp): Once per day, a divine seeker can use locate object spell.

Obscure Object (Sp): Once per day, a divine seeker can use obscure object, which prevents her from being tracked by locating a stolen items she carries.

Locate Creature (Sp): Once per day, a divine seeker can use the locate creature spell.

Divine Perseverance: Once per day, if the divine seeker is brought to -1 or lower hit points, she automatically is cured 1d8+5 points of damage.
