Hey! Cheers forum's up again!
Btw deleting posts may not even free space, SQL just marks data for deletion, not really delete it from tables. Have to run optimize table on database to actually delete.
And there should be lots of logs which is obsolete.
Or how bout increasing disk space? If its virtual serever its really easy.

The clearance action is automatic for version 5 and above.

Unless the feature is provided by the hosting provider, the rented VPS doesn't have this option.

Clearing up some space corrected the problem, and we'll stop our purging for now. Apologies to anyone who lost valuable threads.
As just a "best practice" moving forward, if you have a thread that's more than a couple of years old and it's not in a roleplaying forum, it's best to save a copy of it on your side. Alternatively, if it's something that benefits lots of players, bring it to a moderator's attention so it can be stickied.
