The merchant scratches his chin a moment before responding.. "These boots are of excellent quality good sir, as such your bid is too low. Raise your bid to 25 bags and it shall be accepted."Shad wrote:Tad would place a bid of 10 bags on Resilient Trodders[Boots]
The merchant smiles at the dwarf before speaking. "It would bring me much pleasure to give such a fine piece of armor to someone of the same race as who crafted it. But, as you stated it is of fine quality and I must have recompense for what I paid for it. A bid of 50 bags would be sufficient to cover the cost of what I paid and offer me a small profit. If you are willing to raise your bid, it will be accepted immediately."Gwiston wrote:A baldheaded, plate mail clad Dwarf approaches the stand.
"aye i see ye have armor made by me kin. I have been afta some decent armor to replace this human made tin. Nae sure what t'offer ye fer it. How about these 30 bags? I have more and i would nae like to rip ye off."
the Dwarf turns to walk away before adding "me name be Drellgarn"
Dwarven plate +4. 30 bags bid
"Hm, they do offer quite a boon, sir. Since they allow an extra spell of the highest circle available to those of Bardic disposition, the minimum bid would need to be much higher. Just to cover the cost of acquiring them alone you would need to bid 50 bags. If you can at least cover that cost, I suppose I would begrudgingly part with them."Boddynock wrote:A foppishly dressed tiefling stops by and notices a fine pair of gloves. "These would go quite nicely with several of my outfits... How does ten bags sound for these?"
"While I am of the opinion you overpaid to acquire them, I suppose I can pay 50 bags to keep you from losing money. Being wealthy has it's benefits, from time to time."Mendoza wrote:"Hm, they do offer quite a boon, sir. "You are most generous, sir. Your bid is accepted and will be yours if no one places a higher bid in the next three days."Boddynock wrote:"While I am of the opinion you overpaid to acquire them, I suppose I can pay 50 bags to keep you from losing money. The main quality of this kind item is considered to be its protective ability. I think its because of that this pair didn't catch customers interest. But I'm generous this nice evening, and would agree to raise a bid to 17,5 bags - right halfway your and mine offer. Its up to you to accept it, or wait for miraculous customer who'd offer more.Mendoza wrote:The merchant scratches his chin a moment before responding.. The merchant pauses for several moments as he considers the counteroffer. "Very well, seventeen and a half bags! You may pick them up at your leisure."Shad wrote:The main quality of this kind item is considered to be its protective ability. I think its because of that this pair didn't catch customers interest. "Ah yes, the blade is indeed worth the price. Your bid is accepted. Should no one else bid in the next three days, it is yours."sinopip wrote:"Oh, I mistook the sharpness of the blade. Let it be 50'000 gold pieces." adds Gelo.
