Toki, Last of the Kogan Tribe

Defeated by three elves near the FAI after a confrontation caused by some elf remains he'd delivered on behalf of Uruk Lurra. The remains were in the form of an elf-ear necklace, so their wrath was most justified.. ;)

Dragged to the path near the gates of Doron Amar, where his captors called a Council member of Doron Amar for counsel. Onna'evatril(sp?) appeared shortly thereafter, and after a short debate, excecuted the half-orc and tossed him into the river.

//It was a fun bit of RP with a decent build-up leading to the PvP, and all parties were gracious and courteous to eachother. It was a prime example of conflict RP/PvP done right. Needless to say, I chose the perma-death myself, as it gave the encounter more weight.//

R.I.P Kanithar the Berserker
7 Barbarian/7 Frenzied Berserker
Hidden: show
Kanithar was battling orcs in the Forest of Sharp Teeth when he was approached by a small band. They told him they were mages looking for a warrior to battle the orcs for them, and he consented.

Not far into the orc-hive, the mages beckoned Kanithar near to receive magic. As he approached, one of the short men removed his mask.

"You're a little black for an elf."

The teleportation was violent, a faulty casting that threw the party through a wall. A second attempt by the mage saw the group evaporate into a magical mist, and when they had regenerated, they were pitched in total darkness...there was no light for Kanithar's eyes at all.

When one of the drow cast a magical light onto Kanithar he realised he was deeper under the earth than he had ever been - deeper than any man should ever be.

"Grumbar!"

The stand-off with the two drow and tiefling were brief and non-violent - they made him a proposal. They had work for a warrior in the city, and would pay him very well for it. Greed ruled the barbarian's covetous heart.

On the journey back to the drow city of S'shamath, in the tunnels, their paths crossed near the city checkpoint with a group of illithid and umberhulks.

The battle was terrible and long as the umberhulks and illithid continued to pour out of the tunnels, assaulting the drow checkpoint.

The chaos of frenzied berserker rage mixed with the psionics of the illithid and the confusion of the Umberhulks sending Kanithar out of his mind. His axe swung wildly among the illithid and the drow alike at one point cracking through the magical stoneskin protecting one of the two drow mages, causing her a sore injury. Opportune moments appeared briefly in the battle where he fought alongside the drow for advantage, but they were few.

Before the end of the combat, Kanithar lay dead in the tunnels, slain in the thickest of the fighting as he, the only melee combatant, fought to hold the tunnel against an onslaught of umberhulks.

The drow attempted to resurrect their captive after the fighting, but it was to no avail. The gods had taken him this time.

With the blessing of The Three - Bhalla, Mielikki and The Hidden One - Kanithar ascended into the great halls on high to dine with Tempos - this battle was too worthy to be winked at.

Kanithar left behind his woman, the warrior-maiden Heron Rhayne. He takes no mead in that holy festivity, refusing Tempos' hospitality, explaining that he waits for the day when she will sit here at his side. Grim and sincere, Kanithar boasts often to his warrior company that he will contend violently with her god Helm if he must, for already her seat is saved at his side.

"Have you ever seen a Lion, Rashemi? This is what you remind me of; they are not the largest of the great cats, but yet they seem to possess the most pride, and courage. They are powerful and cunning hunters, able to take down prey far larger than they. Even in a world full of dragons, the Lion is still a king of beasts. To me, you move as a Lion among Men." - Heron Rhayne
