Yes. Check the notes of the build

@Kiran, I disagree. Sorc, wizard, fighter, rogue, etc doesn't take much knowledge or special backstory to get running. And you can always tweak in specifics as you get a good foothold.

The builds I gave look complicated, but they are very user friendly. Anything with Palemaster is naturally more difficult because of the casting progression.

Keep in mind with the Caster Level,,, once the fix for Practiced Spellcaster goes in (which was working) The most Caster Level you can achieve is 35. That is with both Blood Magus and Archmage.

Hawke is right on the not RCR. It is brutal. However, when playing a sorcerer and go over 20CL and realise that you made a mistake in spell selection... say hello to the RCR bot.

That is false. There are builds that can get you 36-38CL even without the PSC bug.

Might is the keyword here. +1CL might mean +1DC on everything. Some thing that you can only get by using two epic feats.

You are correct... The highest you can get NON Red Wizard is 36 CL, IF you take practiced spellcaster and blood magus and archmage for the +6 CL. But it does not net you a DC.

Epic DC bonuses, as you know, are on every third level past 20. So 23,26,29,32,35,38. This is why RWoT is powerful.

It's purely up to how you want to build your character. If you only want two archmage feats that give +1 CL, then yes, taking practiced spellcaster with your blood magus would help you to 35 CL (that +1 DC ).


Again, I was merely pointing out that a LOT of builds out there look after the practiced spellcaster bug, and that a change is more than likely going to happen, since it was functioning the last large patch push (even though it was all removed).

Shadow adept can get you to 38 as well
