"Hail my friend. I am Loghain, Justiciar of Tyr and Squire for the Radiant Heart. The longsword of which you possess is a fine blade indeed...worthy only of one whose cause is to meek out justice and protect the coast from those who might do it Ill. I should like to place a bid for 20 bags of gold. May Tyr watch over you."

*With that the humble paladin paladin places his right fist across his chest and slowly tilts his head at the stranger before heading off*

Maxim makes a somewhat military salutation to Loghain and writes down his bid.

A wood elf approaches the campsite and spots the items the half-orc has. After a while examining them she speaks with a low voice. Interesting wares you have here... I offer you the minimum bid you are asking for this extraordinay blade sir.

At the wood elf request, Maxim opens his eyes wide and shakes his head : "Sorry, sir, I forgot to update my list, there is already a bid of 20 bags for this longsword. Tell me if you wish to bid more than that." Maxim rearranges his bags and updates his noteboard.

The elf lady shrugs and briefly nods. No matter, sir. I offer you 25 bags for it.

*Loghain briefly returns to check on the latest auctions and decides to refill his auction for the longsword offering 28 bags of gold over his previous bid.*

A tall woman wearing tarnished, poorly fitting plate armor frequents the Inn. Catching wind of an auction, a mild interest draws her to the display. Looking over some of the wears, and her own, she considers discarding her current armor and replacing it with something that might fit her better. The hide armor catches her attention, as does the bidding on it.

"A hundred bags for that armor there." She points at the Hide Armor she intends. "Figure it's gotta be worth that if it'll fit..."

Then she adds to the auctioneer Maxim, "Yes. Write it down as Syrenne please."

Maxim exclaims with a theatrical wave of the hand : "My lady, you've won the breasplate!"

The wood elf Myrualae raises her bid. 30 bags good man.

Maxim tells apologetically to Myrualae that the bid on the blade had expired and was sold to someone else.
