It should mean how many objects are between you and the target, at the target's immediate position. Counting in a tiny circle around the target.

On my warlocks, the dark eldridge feat "eldridge doom" damages me and my allies. Not supposed to be that way.

I played a wizard specialicst with conjuration focus. i cant learn summon spells with the study spell feat. other spells are fine. (tried to learn summon monster V and lesser planar binding, both didnt work)

also my prohibited school is necromancy, but i cant learn the spell mark rune (universal school). The scroll is red and i cant use it.

FYI—
If your Toon has Quest Items still in its Inventory, and you do the quests again—because they're not in the Journal/reset—you cannot:

1. Do Maltz' Quest, because your Inventory already has the Supplies for Maltz (it won't take up another, thus firing the quest script to update your Journal).
2. If you already have Hunter Harrow's wolf hides, you'll get 5 more added, to 10. But when you turn them into the Bar Guy in Beregost, it fires the completion script to pick up a Bag of Supplies—which will double, if you already have it in your Inventory, BUT the Wolf Hides will not be taken out, so you now have 10 wolf hides stuck in the Inventory.
3. When you go to return the Bag of Supplies to Hunter Harrow, it will fire the completion script, but the second Bag does not leave the Inventory...your Toon is stuck with double everything!!!!

Hide in the shadows does not seem to have any effect, additionally it only works once per rest.

Not able to take OOBI. I have all requirements (and the rapid shot oobi req feat). I believe its the name change of the Lore skill.

You can give the wolf hides in for monies at the farmlands. For me that worked.

unable to take arcane trickster due to same cause/reason. Help duster!

OOBI issue refined

I played with the lores, its requiring 2 ranks of Lore:Religion instead of Lore (now Lore Arcana)

Able to level OOBI know just FYI for everyone. Requirements are Weapon Focus (long bow or Short bow), Pointblank shot, Rapid shot, Lore:Religion 2, Craft Weapon 5.

After testing OOBI, I'm getting damage rolls below my minimum. No DR is applicable etc. Damage rolls of 5 and 6 with 1d8+1(PBS)+2(mighty)+2(enhance)+6 (OOBI range per).

Hovering Skull seems extraordinarily powerful for its level, with DR 15/bludgeoning(?) and dealing over 50 damage per hit at +23 AB when cast from a level 5 character.

It also has the full hitbox of Rammaq despite the undersized model. This makes it get easily blocked in confined areas.

Additionally, Study Spell does not seem to work with spells that give choices during the casting. Attempting to Study Spell a Protection from Alignment scroll, for example, gives you only the specific variant of the spell (Good or Evil) in your spellbook (which cannot actually be memorized and cast).
