Clint James- comes from me, it's my honor and good side mixed with my thought process which as many have seen it can go all over the place.
Throg Teethnasher- he comes from my size and my kind hearted good nature with a sever line of loyalty he also comes out of the fact that i'm tall and broad and people move out of my way and sometimes have a fear of approaching but that he is kind.

Re: What inspired you?
Agathion is based on my priest from the Exile/Avernum game world. He like priests in that game does not wear armor or use weapons, instead focusing on pure magic much as a wizard does though divine instead of arcane. He will slowly be revealing that background through rp over the course of his existence. He is a good man but also a lot more tolerant and willing to work with evil characters then most in a typical D&D setting. This can and has gotten him into trouble... particularly with a certain female paladin.

Re: What inspired you?
Most of my characters come from my rather mental mind. Such as Penny Quickfeet, I created her more as a Joke character but she ended up being one of my favorites and most popular. As for ones inspired from something:
Wendy (many will probably of guessed this already) was inspired by the Fairy Tail character Wendy Marvell
Jade was heavily inspired by Qara from the orginal NWN2 campaign yet also on a few girls i knew.
William was just my idea of a Paladin, but his name i took from William the Conqueror.
Maldor was of course inspired by Gandalf
Tina Boom-Bewm was inspired by Tiny Tina from Borderlands2 and her second name stems from the first "Bosses" you encounter on the same game.

Re: What inspired you?
Most if not all the characters I have roleplayed are inspired on similar characters from The Black Moon Chronicles.
It is a french comic book series, which I read in my youth, with a diverse and rich cast of characters.

Forever thankful and amazed at all the hard work of DMs, developers and staff that kept running and improving the server over the years.

vendel is loosely based on Renal Bloodscalp from baldurs gate 2, and the shadow thieves. He's also based on another character I had on a nwn2 server many years ago.

Re: What inspired you?
Cheryl Mae Castillo originally started off as Claire Underwood of House of Cards remake, because I loved the idea of playing a likeable villain. I am aware there are definite other evils I could have explored, but I've never been a fan of fiction where the evil was obvious and had no compelling reason to do what they do. I get bored of villains who are evil for evil's sake, and have no depth beyond being a vehicle for the heroes agency. I've grown to like villains whose motives I can understand, and I thought Claire and Frank did the evil I liked well. I still do, in fact, and I think I'm the only one of my friends who still watches House of Cards. =P
Still, Cheryl's evolution eventually lead her down to banking (which I figured in my head is still a subtle reminder that she was evil =P), which lead her to taking inspiration from who I consider the best protagonist in fiction I've ever read. Cithrin Bel Sarcour from The Dagger and the Coin series was a girl who was really good at making money. That's it. There was magic in the world, but she wasn't some sort of chosen one. She was just a normal person who thrived in the opportunities placed before her. Yes the books followed The Hero with a Thousand Faces formula as most traditional epic fantasy books tend to do, but what I've always loved about Daniel Abraham is his ability to make his characters feel fresh and original by giving them subtle little twists and insights that made them feel more human.
Neither of those two characters could really be associated with adventure, which was probably why I never met most of the server

Re: What inspired you?
i enjoy character building quite a bit. i generally find what classes/feats/ect appeal to me and build the character first, then develop a backstory. so, basically, all of my characters are based on the rules of this game!

Inspiration:
Exaggerated portions of my own personality/skills.
Paws - Silly, simplistic, funny (but not intentionally) and a... less-than-ideal concept. I mean, a halfling with a halberd... come on. I am a self-proclaimed atheist that married a choir director (and daughter of a deacon).
Leo Hammersmitty - Techsmith... a gnome of technical skill and inventiveness. I am an engineer by trade and love finding creative ways to solve problems.
Scota - Halfling slinger/assassin. --- Stealthy, dark, combative. It's me in the Army having a bad farkin' day.

Re: What inspired you?
My characters are inspired by common tropes rather than single characters. Sometimes I later discover something in a movie or book or game which I find fitting for a certain char and shamelessly use it for my purpose.
About my elf Llanwyr, I once said half jokigly that he is a victorian dandy gentleman version of Li Mu Bai, from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I still say it isn''t the worst comparison. Also, I think there is a bit of a jedi in him.
Edit: Nope, I didnt get the vid working.

Re: What inspired you?
Early in my Role playing career it was music I would get ideas from songs I liked after that it would be books and comics like Elric of Melniboné or comics like Batman,Daredevil or the Punisher.
