Auction house works, but cant buy/view items again.

Sounds like we probably need to:

- double check that all databases were brought over and stored in the same locations as before
- ensure the module and its scripts are directing to the correct file paths for the SQL database files (auction, bulletin board, etc.)
- recompile scripts in the module

Keep the bug reports coming though! Hopefully a few fixes with the configuration will resolve most of them.

Study spell does not seem to work.

Descriptions (IG Bios) do not to be setting.

Edit: Since the update and/or reset at 20/06/2016 (5:10 PM EST) IG Descriptions and the Appearance changer seem to be working.

Things that are working for me now:

Rolling a stat.
The bulletin board.
The consignment shop. (including buying and selling items, along with proper transfer of item and gold)
The appearance changer.
Setting and changing a bio.
Selecting a language and using it.


I can't test the summon creature bug to see if that's fixed. Can someone have a look for me?

It worked for me, the list popped up and I successfully summoned a creature.

We had to bring it down temporarily. The old server is up again.

Once we fix the RCR issue we'll move the vault over once more. Sorry for any experience or item loss this has caused.

I think Endelyon figured out everything but a pretty egregious RCR exploit that was giving people free epic level and duplicate characters. Hopefully Duster47 can help with that when he gets home and we can make this work.

Otherwise we'll probably disable the RCR bot and do the switch again, and reenable the bot once it's working correctly.

The good news is that Endelyon may have also figured out some of the problems we've been seeing more generally the last two or three weeks. So there's that for a silver lining at least!

That's because Endelyon is a goddess.. Pushing for her to be added to the deity list. I'd worship her.

So at least part of the issue (for the duplicate characters and free RCRs anyway) appears to be that the server was unable to delete character files.

So when talking to Death or the RCR bot, you'd go through the cycle but then not get deleted. In the case of the RCR bot, you'd still get 100% of your XP transferred over, but you'd also keep the character you were supposed to be sacrificing. So you could in very short order make like twenty level 30 characters if you had just one in the vault.

I think everything else significant that was broken has been fixed, plus some old, lingering bugs (appearance changer sometimes not working, DMFI tools hanging up, etc.), which is nice. But we probably need Duster47 or Rasael to figure out the remaining issue, as they're the experts in this field!

We'll most likely switch back to the new host tonight, so that we're at least safe from the old host shutting down on us like the old forums did; but only if we can figure out how to get the character deletion scripts/dialogues working again, or, failing that, after we disable the deleter and the RCR (to be reactivated once they are working correctly).

My new RCR character level was only saved up to 21, despite having leveled her back to 30 and then returning her items back. Fortunately my "mule" still retained the items so I didn't entirely lose my sh*t both figuratively and literally.

I'm loathe to go back and re-level my RCR character and return her items until I'm certain they will be saved when the server resets.

We'll do an announcement when we're sure everything's working as advertised.

I might be slow... but is it safe to RCR or transfer items now? I do not want to start and find out I have wasted all that time
