Ghost is still up at Night's Keep. He never left.

So why did Jon's best friend not make it to the battlefield?
"[Ghost] was in there in spades originally, but it's also an incredibly time consuming and expensive character to bring to life," the episode's director Miguel Sapochnik told Business Insider on Monday. "Ultimately we had to choose between Wun-Wun and the direwolf, so the dog bit the dust."

John snow is a tactical idiot so it will be interesting to see if he can hold the north if he ever has to fight an open field battle ever again. Also he may still need to siege the Dreadfort, and Last Hearth. Than again westeros is about out of competent commanders. Jaime Lannister was a knight and didn't become the commander his father was. Littlefinger sure as hell isn't one. The Frey's have trouble maintaining order in their own court. The Iron born don't fight battles. . . . Really unless there is someone in Dorne Grey Worm will find little challenge in Westeros.

Sam's father is a top notch millitary commander. At least he was in the books.
Randyll is a lean and balding man with a short, bristly grey beard. He is a narrow man but iron willed, shrewd and capable, and is considered one of the finest battle commanders in Westeros. Randyll prizes courage and martial ability, which causes him to despise his eldest son, Samwell because of his cowardice and softness, and strongly favor his younger son, (person), who is much more fierce and robust.

Ah, but Danny has to get her army across the sea first. Don't forget, "What is dead may never die!". If they do make land, Westeros is all but her's save for the Walkers.AlwaysSummer Day wrote:John snow is a tactical idiot so it will be interesting to see if he can hold the north if he ever has to fight an open field battle ever again. Her biggest issue would not be military advance per se but rather cultural and socio-economical. The Faith Militant aren't going to turn over their new found power which now feels firmly entrenched. Also, how do you motivate an army of cut-throats (second suns) and barbarians (Dhothraki) if there will not be pillaging/plundering. If there is pillaging and plundering she will not be stepping forth as a liberator whom holds the ideals of her supposed Kingdom.
Will be interesting...

To be honest I don't think Dany has any chance of winnig if major factions don't join her from Westeros. Otherwise she will be killed one way, or another.Bad Omens wrote:Ah, but Danny has to get her army across the sea first. Don't forget, "What is dead may never die!". Re: Spoiler Alert Game of Thrones
Well, by now the obvious strengthening of ties in some manner between the dragon and the wolf are up there with neon lights and super novas.
Someone has to lead the fight vs the white walker, someone has to knock up Danny after all before the fat lady sings (I have a suspect), and Bran does dream a lot of controlling a certain dragon doesnt he?
An interesting development pointing towards where religion are heading are where the loyalties of the god of light are moving like a boulder in an avalanche.
Friends with Danny in the east, in westeros the red priestess runs with Jon and as the last and final piece the fallen priest just happened to team up with Mama Stark.
A fallen priest who just got accompanied by Arya's most loyal Hound.
Coincidences?
I am sorry but I do not see good tidings in the future for the faith of the Seven, the situation in King's Landing is primed for a slaughterfest. Whoever wins that, looses anyway.
Littlefinger by now feels like the odd man out in the orchestra, how he gets along with wicked Sansa and naughty teen Arya will offer some suspense.
A lot of threats on his horizon really (most selfinflicted), not sure that he will stay alive much longer.

Re: Spoiler Alert Game of Thrones
I think the real heroes are the Dire wolves, only one of them Ghost is left right? The runt of the pact.
I'm also wondering if Brienne will join in when confronting the Red lady. I can't recall if she 100% knows it was her that birthed the shadow that killed Renly?
As a side note, I wonder if Gendry will ever show back up. Someone with kings blood must at some point. Perhaps with Arya's return?

Re: Spoiler Alert Game of Thrones
Arya's wolf, Nymeria, is still (presumably) alive somewhere. After biting Joffrey, Nymeria was sent off into the woods, and poor Lady (Sansa's wolf) paid the price.
I'm pretty sure that Brienne knows about Melisandre's role in killing Renly. I seem to recall some intense Brienne side-eye towards Melisandre at the start of the season.
I think Ser Jorah will somehow find Gendry during the quest to find a cure for the stone disease.

Speaking of Brienne does it crack anyone else up as much as me seeing all the looks Tormund gives her. I keep hearing in my head "That's a mountain I'd like to climb"

Yall may not know this... but John Snow is really the son of Robert Barathian and Ned Stark's Sister.
I.e. he is the true heir to the throne, bastard or not.
