we do have crafting coming, which will help a bit

the limits of items are set. no more than 4 ac on an item. 4 eb. 3 str. etc. getting geared up a bit more quickly wont break anything. the mobs are balanced vs item limits, class limits, ward limits

if there is fear of folks getting bored because they have no more items to look forward to..i just don't feel that is the case. people come here, stay here, come back here, for the rp, setting, dm events. in contrast, a few do leave on occasion, from getting frustrated on trying to gear up
I have actually quit playing a majority of my characters because of lack of gearing up. I have decided to switch my focus to RP and Gear you can buy from merchants.. because lets face it, unless your a vet sitting on a pile of items for trading, you aren't going to be epic geared.
adventurer SAD :(

We are aware of this issue and we are already working on it. For example epic shops are being implemented. However, we need to keep in mind that it was decided to add first less common items ( especially weapons ) and gradually scale up in order to monitor the change. Shops need a lot of work ( Lore and a theme for the items ) and when it is finoshed, it has to go through changes asked by QC and dms... so guess what... more work is needed. Too much critism about a shops' items might put off a dev for working on another, especially for a reason that is out of hand.

There is another epic shop getting ready but i wont say more about, since it is going to be a suprise.

In the meantime, the Random item generator will be discussed and we will see what can be done about it.

Hey, no complaints here. I know I asked tfunke for some love for kukri's and daggers since they were underwhelming.. I appreciate the fact you guys are working on shops, I think its a BIG step in the right direction till crafting is finally finished.
Keep up the good work!
