Also if the problem lies with neutral and Good characters role play towards traveling to the hells. You are all angry that the area itself shun's your role-play from being able to go there IC. . . If so that is the biggest lie i have ever heard.

IF your a good character and you heard of a gate to one of the hells being opened up in the near area why would you not. . . EVEN OUT OF INTRIGUE go to see if the legends are true. And if they are! Why would you not concern your character with the fact that its there. . . ITS A GATE TO HELL! There are evil forces manifesting themselves into your plane of existence from that very portal. . . Not only that their manifesting in the region you live in! Would you not take that into consideration that this portal needs to be closed? That you need to find the source of the portal and who created it? That you need to repel those demons and devils within before more and more legions walk through and march into your world?

There are so many reason for role-play elements that you as a Lawful good paladin of the Sun God or you the Chaotic Good Sulune Knight or even a decendent of Doron Amar! Would go there. You are just angry that the area is too hard for your style of playing the game. ((Via casual non-combat oriented even in the slightest! Role Player.)) And if so take that as a lesson for your role play and just say IC : "Oh maybe i should not travel here without the help of others." Everyone has different styles of playing this game and more and more of us combat oriented players want reasons to go to these hard forsaken area's because with the current loot system unless you going to kill a boss that ENSURES you that 5k drop + items there is no reason to go there.

And i know where your about to go. . . "Oh this is a role play server your just exercising the fact that power building is a thing because you are one!"

Yup your right i'm a power builder, i like it when my characters are powerful in the seance of mechanics and role play both. Why? Because of this exact reason. People come to me and ask for divination, to bless them with the lesser strength speed and stamina my magic could give upon them, TO GUIDE THEM IN DANGEROUS AREA's, because in the role play world they know my character is powerful and he can do all these things like make your character more powerful, and travel to these dangerous area's because of it.

Is that ruining my role play? HELL NO! Power builder's curse is completely non seance the only problem i have with role play and the seance that i get bored very quickly in the game because i don't get role play like those tight kited guilds who have been role playing with their tight knit groups for years. . . lets say the groups such as Doron Amar. . . or Candle keep or the Commercial Exchange is not because i'm a power builder. The main problem with role play to me is the current balance of Evil, Neutral, and Good characters on the server. Everyone knows there are far farrr farrrrrr less evil toons on the surface which causes problems for other who want to make evil characters because once people find out your toon is evil. Well say good bye to all your rp because the majority of the server is good and or neutral and don't want to take the risk of role playing with you because of the lack of rp it could precieve upon being looked at wrongly.

They don't even give us the the benefit of trying to stop or oppress our evil ways. . . (Turn into a devil in-front of a lathanderite?) "Well as long as its on our side." ; (Kill someone in cold blood?) "Well i don't want to see you around here again!" ; (Plan to take over the world and destroy the whole plane of faerun itself?) Well good luck finding a DM to help you with that first of all. . . Oh but just incase one does: "Give up your ways or I, Sir Elrick KnightFinger, Morning lord of lathander, Great Champion of the Divine Order, Exalted of the Holy Legion, Commander of the 34th Trinity Calvary Battalion will stop you! Uh. . . Just give me like a month to report it first".

Or you could do the most scummy thing of all which has been happening to me for the past few months by a few hand picked Players. . .

Completely ignore my role play and say. . . "Meh its just a devil killing an unlucky traveler. Let's move on."

I Don't think you understand what this is, Its not an objection to NPC placement nor any good characters having issue going to hell. Its about buying from a devil, The entire poll is about switching the NPC from a devil to a planeswalking wizard so other alignments can buy from it.

The only argument i see here is "Suck it up good guys", This is exactly the reason evil PC's get excluded from so much RP. This is suppose to be a collectively enjoyable RP experience, Yet your arguing against something that has no effect on you for the sole purpose of sticking it to the good guys. There is nothing wrong with role playing the "bad guy" but that shouldn't translate to an OOC conflict. The best IG villains go out of their way to make it enjoyable for both sides OOC.

hehe, why don't good aligned characters just put an afk tag above their head when shopping from the devil! You know, like some of us have to do when picking up quests, or buying bare necessities from BG! That's a perfect solution!

It does sort of seem like you guys are making a mountain out of a molehill here. Some things just are the way they are because it is a game. Goodies can't kill the quest imp in Sharp Teeth on sight, baddies can't set fire to buildings in settlements. That's just the way it is sometimes, move on.

If someone like to play as strong builds - shop change nearly nothing ( strong builds will be always strong), if somone like RP - can find there easy(?) way to pimp their stats, abilities and what else..
Best thing - You dont have to go there.. and put pointless restrictions "who can or who not" buy from devil-merchant its simply funny. I assume all know how to play their Toons.
Many of those who RP their way to 30lv (if only) can always ask DM to reward (with RP reason of course) with much stronger items that this shop have.
Dont be jelous.

I would like to see more place like this, with epic spawn, items and reason to go there with party. Funny that people with already strong builds complain at that shop. Same like this with full RP one, there is so many way to gain gold even with RP. Join guild, take cash for event - not EXP, look to chests and share or sell lot with others, ask someone for help, robery, geass, etc.. ALL YOU WANT! with Respect to others.
