No, I was actually interested in how such an overpowered Feat even made it past first glimpse.

Its my fault. That feat was assigned to me to test and i guess i did a crappy job.

Apologies for that

LOL. I guess there was a bit of a rush.

I hope it's on the list for fixing then, or should I RCR all my builds to get Parry before the 25th (j/k it would make the game no fun at all for me)???

I never even knew of this feat's existence before today.

So um three things...
1st it does have a cool a limit, you can only parry so many time in a 6 second span
2nd not really over powered as you use up remaining attacks.... and its is what the mode should have always been
3rd you can actually parry the attacks of party members on top of your own attacks >.>

Neat though when it works and you are by yourself :D

On a side note any idea if improved parry will change the feat in anyway or does it only work for the mode still?

1. Six seconds is 1 round - you do understand what that means I hope?

2. It is overpowered(if it gets 'fixed') because you can avoid a lot more attacks than you lose. Epic Dodge is seen as the second most powerful Combat Feat in the game after HiPS, and this is better. ED is worth about 5AC; this is much better if you build right.

3. That's another bug then, but if that gets fixed then this is broken.

More like parry some times the thing infront of you and then other times the coprse next too it. As to the feat being over powered, how is it any different than the parry mode other than it works? You can only parry as many attacks as you can dish out, just like the mode, but instead of blocking one attack from primary target and eating the rest of the mobs around you's attacks... you block the first attack from all targets (some times). So far from my testing the first attack is the only attack I've been able to parry.

Hate to say it... but so far I use the mode when I'm in danger of dieing to a boss, not the feat.

I'm glad you raised this!

1. There is no Parry in PnP

2. When there was still official NWN2 Obsidian Boards I actually asked one fo the developers this very question and he said, "We didn't fix it because we decided it was too powerful"

... No parry in pen in paper you say? And regardless of what the devs that left this game to rot thought about something, it is part of the D&D world all the same. There are actually a lot of feats based on and around parry in 3.5 and beyond as well as a whole PRC Duelist

Alas I'm not here to argue with you about the feat, I was asking about it to get more information.

I think what was meant is that there is no parry skill in PnP. If you look at the pen and paper version of the action, it's opposed attack rolls. Skill ranks and attack rolls aren't things that are balanced to be weighed against one another. (Similar issues arose with NWN1's implementation of "Discipline.")

well how about some other way a round we might not need a cold down what if you need to have 10 skills point in skills parry and you get one round parry tha tmean if you have 20 you get 2 round parry and a attack 30 you have 3 round parry and one attack 40 skills and you have 4 around and so on and on

You will note that you have referred to a blank page. If you maintain that this is a PnP Skill, similar to NWN2, then pray provide the source book.

At first sight this appears even worse, but maybe I'm reading your intentions wrongly. Please show a typical attack sequence with 50 parry skill and we can see.
