Believe me, I can understand how annoying this issue is. It began with the March update, and our only options are to wait it out until Rasael and AoS can work out the kinks, or to roll the module back to a pre-crash state, which would be utter chaos since so many characters have taken the new feats and skills.
Until they get it straightened out it's important that you save your characters as often as possible, and there will inevitably be some loss of xp/items during crashes, but even clicking that "save character" button once an hour or so when you haven't rested will drastically reduce the chance of this happening.
Solving these crashes is my #1 priority, but it admittedly remains far above my head for the time being. Rasael just pushed a script update out this morning that should fix a few more bugs, and our scripters are hard at work, so just keep your fingers crossed that hopefully soon they're able to come up with a solution.

When you drop items, it should say "Lost Item: XYZ" in your Combat Log. So you Screenshot your combat log. Maybe you need to turn this display feature back on?!?

Then...you need a friend. Or, a second computer and CD Key (a poor substitute for a friend, but hey...computer love!).

Hey Endelyon, I was under the impression the "save character" button didn't work? Are you saying it does to save your char from crash rollbacks?

It should export your character every time you click it since I tweaked it up.

I'd trust a stranger before I'd trust the ground. Try pming people that have been around for a while. You might be surprised how many are willing to mule for you.
