Quoted for truth.

Congratulations, Akroma. :) I'm glad she said yes!
How do we know it's the same girl who said yes?! If watching soap opera's has taught anything... it is that a cruise trip means they both had at least three encounters with former ex'es and two first loves.

I demand more details on this romanced proposal. Swoosh me Akroma. Swoosh me with your manliness!

Well then, she said yes:

(Excuse my face.. I was immensely tired.)
Planned the cruse for several months now, and as some may know I recently bought a house. I asked her to move in with me and she was very concerned as we weren't engaged or married. She agreed, but was reluctant.. not knowing i had this engagement planned for months and the ring for over a year. House closes escrow in a month or so.
When we first started dating, like 4-5 months in, we would jewelry shop for fun and she found her "perfect ring." It was quoted "don't you dare ask me to marry you with anything other than this ring!" I told her it was to early to even be considering such things and that she better let it go. I literally went back the next day, bought it, and told them to tell her it was sold to another couple. She went back a month later and was sad for weeks when she found out someone else bought it.
While on the boat, I left to go set the stage and hired a photographer to take pictures of us at sunset and got dinner reservations for the fancy on-ship private dining. I told her we had dinner at a fancy restaurant and to dress accordingly and that we would be getting a photo. The photographer knew that he would take the photo of us, then I would ask for 1 more and pull out the ring.. that would be the signal to let loose. So I did just that, we got out, she wasn't expecting it at all and I got on a knee at sunset over the open water on the back of the boat and got the perfect picture. She was completely shocked not only to get asked, but to also get her perfect ring.

Consider yourself Wooed
