Ninja should probably have the same restriction on multi classics with druid that monk has.

You can take the ninja class without running around in a ninja mask speaking in Japanese, should you so choose... Either rp as hiding your identity and running from something that caused you to leave Kara-tur, or your from a rich family in Amn and got kidnapped while on a trade caravan. Maybe you were trained/brain washed and sent back to kill some target our maybe you eventually escaped and recently made your way back to the coast... In any case, point is there is lots of ways to rp it, but nothing says you have to play one. The beauty of choice!

(PS, Rangers are the real ninja of the sword coast!)

Just as a note, this content has NOT BEEN PLAYTESTED by QC yet, and is only available for selection currently because I know of no way to restrict a base class from use (qualifier feats don't work).

As a result, there WILL be incoming changes to it once things are scripted and in place. This class will be in flux until its final version is announced (and may not even end up being called Ninja or having the resulting Kara Turan lore attached to it).

This is simply a developmental version, and should not be chosen by any means, or at least with the understanding that your mechanics will be changed. (Though, since people never listen, this will inevitably still happen. I may go as far as putting a script in the Nexus that bars them from leaving without DM assistance if this appears to be becoming an issue.)

I just don't want anyone blaming QC for the "release" of this content or attaching their name to it--unlike things normally put into the module, they've had no part in this one yet except the brief mention from me a few months back that I wanted to work on developing it.

Other than that, just stay tuned for further information.

could you script mystra to check for the class, and not allow ppl in game with it without a qualifier feat?

It was talked about briefly on IRC. Endelyon wants to add the class for the mechanics around it, but unfortunately the name "ninja" comes with a lot of baggage in terms of lore/RP concept. Maybe the people on the forums could offer suggestions to a more Sword Coast appropriate name for a class with these particular mechanics?

Ninja only get 1 AC from wis per a class level. Meaning a druid 27 ninja 3 would only gain 3 AC unlike a monkey.
