Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I totally want a Half-Orc Ranger that rides his dire wolf companion. I had no idea mounts were even possible for NWN2 (Heck, I don't think they were available in NWN1 until Wyvern Crown of Cormyr, and that was very close to when NWN2 was coming out).

Well is the content available on the nwn2vault? I suspect Rasael/duster/the rest have already looked into it a little bit. Maybe they have some insight.

The charge feats would be pretty cool especially if they added Lance's as a weapon similar to spears.

Mounted Combat, yes please. With all these Kara'turan characters around, I want to play a horse archer from the Endless Wastes (a mongolian, basically)!

I am going to make a bald warlock, take eldritch spear, and ride a shark.

Cuz sharks with fricken lazerbeams on thier heads.

But on a serious note, mounts would be excellent! Would PCs need a Skill base in order to be a better rider, or would it simply require a feat?

And because the game don't register water and it's just a visual element with a barrier to prevent you from walking under the water surface... this means that I would be riding a shark.... on land....

All this just for travel speed is literally all I would want it for, and what it has currently. Just in case we don't have those rich Teleporting friends around!

what about human ride a horse then

Currently from what I've seen only a handful of races was functional and without additional animation looked really odd.

Wow.... 4760 has been working their ass off on this. Much obliged for sharing this info. I just read the entire thing. I know next to nothing about programming but I am guessing we are still a long ways off from implementation but I am ecstatic to find out this is being actively worked on.
