Re: Suggestion: better scaling of dead walk invocation
Warlocks do not have many options diversity wise. This is why I suggested it be tied to the eldritch master feat. Also keep in mind that you cannot play dagger spell mage and be evil. This leaves only three prestige classes available to progress, and it is my understanding that dragon slayer breaks DR from dark foresight. I do not see a balance issue. We could require eldritch master and attaining level 25 as the route to open up any new changes to existing summons. I think this would be pretty fair.

You can, by abusing alignment-shifting spells.Eclypticon wrote:Also keep in mind that you cannot play dagger spell mage and be evil.

I do think the summons should be improved. Currently, they have a large health pool, but crummy AB (and AC, I think). I understand that the idea is that they would tank and be disposable, but mobs tend to ignore them in favor of members of the party that do damage or are more active.
Maybe they could be given the multiple summoning treatment (summon 1d3 of them), give them scaled up AB (leave their AC low, and their damage relatively low. Let them do some damage, bearing in mind the DR heavy server this is.), and give them a "taunt" ability (similar to Man At Arms) with a good DC. That would enable them to fit into the disposable tank role nicely.
