Wizards have some classes they can dip into that have some kind of spell progression. (I did not add application only classes)

1. ASOC
2. Arcane Trickster
3. Archmage (Hierophant is a way better equivalent by the way)
4. Blood Magus
5. Daggerspell Mage
6. DragonSlayer
7. Eldrich Knight
8. Frost Mage
9. Harper Agent
10. Master of Alchemy
11. Palemaster
12. Techsmith of Gond
13. Thaumaturge

Clerics have quite a few as well.

1. Black Flame Zealot
2. Blood Magus
3. Dragon Slayer
4. Harper Agent
5. Hierophant (gives more for less sacrificed)
6. Hospitaler
7. Master Alchemist
8. Morninglord of Lathander
9. Pious Templar
10. Sacred Fist
11. Silverstar
12. Stormlord
13. Techsmith of Gond
14. Thaumaturge
15. Warpriest

Looking at those two "lists", you can tell that there are common themes among them. Some classes are shared, some are very specific.

If you wanted to do a "sneaky" cleric... one has to do was the arcanists have to do.... multiclass into a non spell progression class, and hope the CL does't fall to much. Because right now, You cannot take Archmage with a non caster class, even then there are a number of casting classes that do not qualify. Hierophant doesn't have that restriction.

So if someone wants HiPS.. you have 3 choices. Shadow Dancer, Assassin, Ranger.

If you do HiPS with a cleric... you have the negatives to your hide/move silently because of the heavy armor and shield.

Just like the mages.

Armored Wizard/Sorcerer? Of course! But they lose 3-4 DC to their spells to do it and 4 feats (3 being epic).

It's all about the trade offs.

I think the Black Flame Zealot is probably a good start to tweak for the Divine classes. That will allow them to get some skill points and taking harper agent, that is 15 levels of increased skill points with new skills to be opened up.

That is my outlook on the roguish skill viewpoint for divines.

and Divine Seeker.

No need to make AT for Diviners.
