(( I will try to summarize it once more, since you sincerely can not stop. I already told you, I likely should not have said "I'll reserve it". So I think I already owned up on that. I got the offer of 250K, asked you if you wanted to move against that. After half an hour or so, the person interested, whom's account you accuse me of being my second, along with your six secret people who apparantly feel wronged by this second account, could make it online and I impatiently, but far more fair in price amount, sold, for a nice 250K.

I alt-tabbed and saw a message, it was you, offering me the 300K, alas, I sold it, so yes, I ended up missing out on 50k by being impatient!

In short, you are pissed off you missed out on the item. I should not have said in the previous messages I'd reserve it. It's interesting though you hurl accusations and what not as this talk progressed, that are entirely false and based on what? six non-excisting people? If this is the worst thing you have to worry about in your life. I really think you will be alright. <3

Whatever helps you sleep at night Mr honest . Like I said perhaps not use the ah if you can't cause crap not what this is for . It's for auctions were each party has a chance to bid and highest bidder wins you didn't want to do that sell your drama items privately perhaps. Good luck loving with yourself I sleep well each night

(( The highest bidder, bid 250K...I sold it, your bid, came too late. So yes, I shall snuggle up in my bed. Enjoy when my cat curls up against me and sleep blisfully. Thank you so much for your concern! and blatantly ignoring the fact I call you out on accusing me of said second account. Be mindful the door does not slap your aggravated behind on your way out <3

(( Shall I make a dramatic fall to one knee and beg forgiveness for the "reserving" part? I already have mentioned this thrice, if not four times and given you the point for that. Regardless, highest bidder won and I communicated. Once more, terribly sorry this has been such a sour experience for you. But I am not dishonest. Are we done now? or do you wish to continue?

(( Let's agree to disagree! Yes. That is the only thing I can really say to this. You are not a tool to me, I merely find your behaviour and actions loathsome. I have -nothing- to hide, hence why I keep replying. You hijack my thread, to make a moot point. If this causes people to shun me or not rp with me, little I can do about that! But as you said in your pms, quoting: "You fit right in here in BG". Which was your referral to the majority of people here being bad folk, dishonest and what not.

Final. Summary:

- You offered 50K.
- I said, sounds good! I'll reserve it!
- Offers came in, 250K being the top bidder, I messaged you.
- After around 30 minutes, no reply, for whatever reason, be it you were sleeping or what not, - I chose to go ahead for the 250K (also after people who were being kind to me in tells suggested it was worth a lot more, thank you for that!) and RP.
- I sold the belt for a delicious 250K
- I alt-tabbed at some point, saw your offer of 300K and had to tell you I sold it for the 250K.

The End.

You know, I too hate it when selling items goes straight to the toilet, for one reason or another. We get all excited about what we have to sell, what we may get to buy, it gets all...personal.

WHICH, is why, the Auction House actually has some rather well thought out Rules. I'll post them here, so you can easily see it (underlined the top paragraph, for importance). Cheers guys. It's just a game.

Subject: NOTICE: The Auction House Rules
Maecius wrote:The Auction House is in the Community Roleplaying section of the forums. As such, the auctioning of goods and services should be done in a manner that promotes roleplay (RP)—and not simply be treated as an extension of cash grinding. This is not an MMO: All auctions are to be done in an In Character (IC) fashion.

Here is a basic example of what an auction post should look like:

Friendly Arm Inn - Elminister - Longsword of Radiant Light
As you can see here, auctions should be labeled by the city in which they are taking place, or the region. For example, Baldur's Gate, Beregost, Doron Amar, Roaringshore, Sshamath, etc. The auction's title shall also include the name/pseudonym of the PC making the sale—though the sale can be conducted by a fence or merchant PC (whether or not this PC belongs to the seller or to another player). This allows for the usage of a Mule PC for such matters, if desired.

Bids must be done In Character by the actual PC who is looking to buy the item. This may lead to some interesting circumstances, and promote RP. This means some sales will have a certain group, or individual PCs, blacklisted from them, but this is only how it should be.

Underdark (UD) and Surface players selling items to each other is prohibited, unless it is conducted in-game and in-character (essentially, your PC must be able to travel between the two regions). There will be NO AUCTION HOUSE TRANSACTIONS IN THE NEXUS BETWEEN UD AND SURFACE PCS.

The Nexus does not exist as a part of the BG:TSSC roleplaying environment. It is simply a game mechanic, not an actual location. Once again, this is to promote RP in the actual game world.

As many players already follow these Auction House forum rules, they have the thanks and applause of the DM staff. If a posted auction does not comply with the rules above, a DM will either give you a warning or disable (lock) the auction until the player corrects it.

Thank you, and happy auctioning.[/color]

NOTE: "Seeking" threads, where the character is seeking an item or service, although less common than the "selling" threads, should likewise comply with the above rules.

Usually when a item is outbid in the ah there a post and the other party is given more than 31 minutes to respond oh well your first time here . The reserve part sure I'll take that bit after when I say I'm upset and you start to talk trash and say I'm ripping you off and then we end up here . Any messages sent make your absolutely 100 percent mean and are willing to follow threw with or don't send them we are not 5 years old this is stuff all our parents taught us .we will agree to disagree you see your actions have reactions remember this when talking with folks you seem to forget this threw out your post .

(( I will make it habbit to refer people to the thread rather than to stick to forum PM's, Steve. Some of those were IC, most were not. Thank you for the reminder. If we can conclude it with this. It's all good with me. And I do not mind you venting anything. I just think this entire debate was not needed at all. But it is there and I surely am not going to request anyone to delete this.

Regardless whether you request this be deleted or not, this needs to stop.

1) This is an in-character forum, and posts here need to be in character unless there are extenuating circumstances (to arrange times, clarify prices, abilities, etc - NOT to argue, call out, or grief).

2) The interaction here is unacceptable. If you have a problem with another player, handle it in PMs.

If you have questions, reply to the Moderator list. All future replies to this thread should be in character.
