Does it improve roleplay or not?

I like that in groups suddenly the mage or thief comes over to one of the big boys and drops a full plate mail in front of them for the big boy to carry since the little guy just cant or the skinny weak mage.

In regards to stacking. Maybe small items should be? But things like healing kits are not small items, take up a bit of size, doubt anyone would be carrying 99 of them unless a half ogre or orc.

A little realism never hurt, but is a tough one to draw the line

(Not for or against personally)
I'd like to go "Does it improve gameplay value"

And yes. I'd say it does. Stacking items that is.
Weight I like as is. And if we remove weight then it makes str. Less appealing. But most classes take some str specifically because of weight. So unless we do another 100% rcr... I wouldnt personally change weight of items.

Stacking size however is a good idea. There ain't no role play value to stacking. As I rarely rp with the contents of another players inventory. It's just going to make life easier for everyone. And I doubt it will make life harder for any. Plus... the folk with multible tons of stacks with scrolls. Wands (not stack able but you get the drift). Potions etc... well. They will benefit greatly.

I am always out of item slots because of all the rings, amulets, leaf-holders and keys. The NWN2 inventory doesn't include the size of the items anyway. Ven's 10 rings would easily fit in a small pouch, but they take 10 slots. On the other side with all his weapons, he would look like my avatar. :D Actually I don't really mind about it. I think the weight is enough to cap the amount of the things you can carry. Thinking about realism in a fantasy game only gives me headaches. For me this isn't a medieval realtime simluation and I am glad Ven has got his "magic bag", where he can put all his stuff into.
