On hit Stun/hold/sleep are all against will saves, and will and reflex saves never autofail on a roll of 1 :!:
So these weapons are only good, as long as the enemy will save is below the dc-range.

You want a weapon with on hit blind (or any other onhit that rolls against fortitude) - these work on a roll of 1. (There is a nice Katana in the avernus shop.)

Arterial Strike - i would guess the bleeding effect is blocked by damage resistance and many monsters have it in higher CR areas. (Not tested the feat myself.)

Hide in the Shadows - last i tried it was almost useless - as you need a way to get away from monsters to succeed at hiding.
Entering into the shadows renders you immobile for four seconds while you attempt to blend. If any hostile creatures are within melee attack range the attempt will fail.
Swashbuckler could be an option with the recent changes:
Disarm at level 8, Epic Presicion at 12, evasion at level 16

In the end I picked scimitar as my main weapon, mainly because the base damage doesn't really matter on higher levels and it will still let me use a shield when it's really needed. Also I checked if there are any nice ones and I found the Scimitar of Pestilence. It has EB+3, On Hit: Poison DC20, On Hit: Disease DC20, it just sounds perfect for my character. Now I have to find this or something similar. :)

I already dismissed the idea of using HitS and about the Arterial Strike you might be right, I hope someone here tried it before, but I'm still not sure if it would work at all with only 1d6 SA.

Excuse me for bothering you here again, but I didn't want to open a new topic for this. :)

What's the lowest str score that makes Knockdown (and the imp version) a worthwhile investment on this server? I mean just because now it works, more or less, on xvarts, orcs and trolls that doesn't mean it will be enough for giants later.

I'm asking this because if my hips and death attack paralyze combo won't work that well on higher levels (and it probably won't), then I'll need that imp. knockdown to not die instantly. If not then, I might just take dodge, stealthy and one hander instead, so I could still get the twohanded str bonus.

I don't know about knockdown, but I will call out that my Ranger/Assassin (21/9) I used to play had death attack work on Frost Giants, Naga's, and just about every other epic mob pretty regularly. His DC was 21 for death attack and I'd say on average he paralyzed an enemy out of HiPS maybe once out of every 5 flurries. This makes sense when you consider the opening flurry included 4 attacks and 4 saves * 5 flurries = 20...So about 5% of the time. 5% doesn't sound like a lot, until you consider that enemies have to make their save 4 times in a single flurry.

Great! With 8 assassin levels and practiced spellcaster it will have CL10 or 12 (I'm not sure if it can go higher than the max assassin level) and with Fox's Cunning it will have 4 int modifier, so if I'm right the DC of Death Attack will be between 24 and 26.

Then I guess I will be just fine without knockdown. Thanks. :)

Death Attack doesn't benefit from practiced Caster. It's just 10+Assassin level+INT modifier. So with a 4 INT modifier and 8 levels of Assassin you will have a DC of 22.

meh, that's sad, then the only thing Practiced Spellcaster will increase is the duration of my spells? :<

Fine 22, it is. :)

Correct, +4 minutes per cast on your cats grace/fox cunning/ghostly visage/freedom of movement and +24 seconds on greater invisibility.

We had discussed increasing the CL for Blackguard and Assassin, potentially up to 2X class level, so with PSC you could hit CL 24 on an assassin or BG, but I don't think it was ever implemented.

I see, that definitely sounds interesting, but until then I'd rather take something like sf: tumble for the better one hander bonus chances or something else, dunno. Back to nwn2db! :)
