I think this is something the DM staff should comment on before you put it in game.

My personal opinion.

I like the idea of the dcs to learn factoids. This could be fun. The discription could be lead off as follows.

(Optional DC 14) vampires like to suck blood
(Optional DC 24) vampires can't cross running water.

Every adventure probably after level 3 can tell the basics.

That thing is undead
That thing is a demon
That thing is an angel.

What types, sure. But let's leave that to role play?

I would love all summons to bare the casters name on them.

Just my personal opinion. But yeah, over all it could be fun to see this in game. Though with the optional tag I think clears up if you have to comply or not.
My personal view is in red, for I am fancy.

Unless its a modified vampire of the haunted lands, but that is probably even higher DC. ;)
"Drojal zhah obdoluth dorb'd streeak, Lueth dro zhah zhaunau dorb'd ogglin."
"Existence is empty without chaos, Life is boring without enemies." So sayeth Lady Lolth, Queen of Chaos.

PC: Natalya, wandering enchantress.

Dont worry, iam not putting something in that might require DM consent. I made the descriptions purely for roleplay:

Heres an example:
This humanlike creature has solid gray skin. Its head is almost blank, but it has the faintest suggestion of a nose and two burning, red eyes. Most disturbing is its wicked smile: It curves menacingly and seems fixed, revealing bone white teeth.

Lore: The Planes DC 20: This creature is an assassin devil, also called a dogai, an outsider native to the Nine Hells of Baator. They are silent killers, expert infiltrators that serve the baatezu as spies and assassins.

Lore: The Planes DC 25: The first of their kind were mere shadows of vaguely sentient, malicious will. Asmodeus ordered these creatures collected, melted in a pit of fire, and their essence reforged into assassin devils. Even today, assassin devils are seen as outcasts. They dwell on the fringes of baatezu society, working behind the scenes to enforce their masters will. Some Assassin devils live alongside mortals. Through extensive use of their abilities, they can move without detection, slipping unseen into secret meetings, eavesdropping on strategies, and assassinating particularly dangerous threats to baatezu plans.

Getting this kind of lore into the game world is one of the best suggestions i have read on these forums. Helps to educate the players and to act IC on stuff your character should know, but you as player is uncertain of. More of this kind of stuff please! :)
