A tall man dressed in battered studded leather approaches and puts in an offer for the Kukri.
"how does 10 bags sound for that nice Kukri sound? My name is Jospeh"

Kro attaches a little rolled up paper scroll on top of the notice board in Baldur's Gate.
On its front is written the name BRAN
The note itself states:

Greetings Bran, I have it on good authority that you are asking 80,000 gold for the Arcane Scholar Robes
It is a hefty amount, but I am in the position to provide you this amount in exchange for the robes.

An old man, somewhat unsteady on his feet, walks up to the notice and attaches a tattered scroll to it.

"G'day to you, Bran!

It seems like you just got the thing I've been looking for. While I'd like to buy one of your fine bracers, I'm somewhat low on coin, but I also have items of decent quality. I kindly hope that we can make a deal as fellow terrible merchants.

I'm looking forward for your positive response.

Soon after the two notes are collected and current bids on the notice updated. Under it is a scribled note; "I'll give it a day or two for others to bid on what they want otherwise the kukri and the robes go do the top bidder!

Bran then pinned Wendel's note under his own, scribbling on a reply; I... don't need any of your items Wade, but I've left the bracers for you at the Baldur's Gate's Bank under your name. If you wish to leave some coin in exchange, do so, but should you be in short supply of that, please, take the bracers and consider it a gift.

OOC: Hermit, find me ingame whenever and u can pick up the bracers, Tekill and Gwiston, give it a day or two and if noone else bids on the items, they're yours!

Some new markings appear over the allready confusing board;

Sir Kro. You've won the auction on the robe. Congratulations. Pick it up whenever you wish to.

To sir Joseph; You've been outbid by a gentleman, who didn't wish to give away his name. The current bid on the kukri is noted.

*A new sheet of paper appears over the last one with a few new items written on it.*

As the sleepy guards patrolling the eastern side of Baldur's Gate see the first rays of sunlight come over the wall, it becomes apparent that the notice board has been defaced. Over Bran's list of items in sloppy red pigment it is written:

"The Cursed Amulet

I can't help but wonder,
Come lightning or thunder,
What terrors would come to pass,
if a duerger put on that necklace?
Would he, despicable to behold,
Have his ugly face implode?

A day later, the whole set of items is redrawn on a new sheet of parchment with a small envelope for replies attached to it. Next to it is pinned the poem which had been contributed by this mysterious Akula. Under the poem was written;
"The amulet was decursed before it was given away, but thank you for your contribution."

*Under the stranger's note Bran scribbled a reply;*

I have 3 sets of the same damn robes. At this rate I should be giving them out for free, but yes. Pick up your set for 8,000 whenever you wish. I'll be in town again in a day.
