Adelaide shakes her head with a kind expression, uttering a few words before wandering away. "I will bid no further. May fortune smile on you both."

He continues on his way, pole bent over his shoulder.

A Thayan courier approaches the half elf, offering her a piece of paper.

"My Master says it is an offer one can simply not refuse." he leaves right after.

The bearded man glances down to the parchment, lips curling in repugnant smirk. A thickly tattoed finger, missing it's tip, flipped off the Thayan courier as he turned his back and left.

*A figure covered in dirty cloths walks by the stall and notices a sword of fine craftsmanship among the barely above average wares. He smirks under his hood while he takes out a piece of paper and starts to write something on it*

Thirty-three bags of gold for that longsword. *points at the Longsword+4 and puts the signed paper with his current bid on the table* I will stay in town for a day or two, I'm looking forward to do business with you.

Qurayza waves at the fisherman and Adelaide as they depart, always wearing a smirk. He turns to regard the bearded tender whilst digging through his satchel with a gloved hand. "We have an accord, then ?"

The man grunted and slid over the helm, one palm extended expectantly for payment.

The Earth Genasi, having not moved from his position and now seeing a new bid on the sword, stands silent for a full hour.

Finally he points at the longsword, his voice loud and clear.

"Forty bags for the sword."

The man nodded and marked down the new bid.

*Gareth nervously eyes the earth genasi up and down, clearly not pleased with the competition, then states his next offer*

Fourty-four bags for the sword!

The increase in bid is marked in the ledger.

Silvery eyes glittering, the Genasi stares at the sword for an uncomfortably long time, still not moving from his original position.

"Fifty bags for the sword."

Casting a look between the two, the stand-in merchant smirked - all but goading the bidding war continue. The ledger was updated once more.

*Sitting not far from the stall Gareth is peacefully sipping from his flask when he hears the genasi's counter-offer. Almost choking on his drink, he starts coughing heavily. This goes on until he calms down and wipes his mouth. Gareth flashes a glance at the genasi and the stall, then with a faint smile he continues loud and clear.*

A tall, fair-skinned human male with charcoal applied around his eyes approaches and carefully inspects the +4 Fortitude ring. His polished mithral fullplate gleams almost as much as his smile, and he appears to like what he sees.

"I say, how much were you looking for this here ring, as it were?", he asks politely in a Procampan accented Common. "By the by, what sort of craftsmenship is this? I don't recognize that maker's mark."
