Wilderness Stalker
Level 8 - HiPS outdoor areas only
At the moment there doesn't seem to be anything a WS can do that a ranger/rogue multi can't do better. This would address the balance some.
Level 2 - Uncanny Dodge
Level 6 - Imp Uncanny Dodge
Same reason as above.
Class Skill - Set Trap
This seems like a given to me. I know there's Hunter as some sort of Ranger kit but I'm not sure if it's working or not. That being the case, trapping could be part of the WS' arsenal. Perhaps even add some special traps as a class feature?
Level 1 - Stealthy and/or Alertness
Level 4 - Great Fortitude
Just some extra fluff really.

I gave the Wilderness Stalker another look as I would really like to play this class at some point (Stalker was my favourite ranger kit in BGII

). It seems it was designed as a PrC for the somewhat OP (imho) Scout base class which has not made it into BGtSCC.
That being the case, could it be reimagined as a ranger focused PrC? Replace the Tracking feat requirement with Stealthy, throw in Uncanny dodge so you only have to take rogue to 3 (and make the sneak attacks stack!), and gain ranger spells as if you had gained a level in your base class? Oh and HiPS

.

Well at one time there was going to be a hunter base class that never got implemented, but the wilderness stalker is not the same as the stalker kit from bg2 (for that try ranger 22/assassin 8). Wilderness stalker is a prc that allows some ranger abilities without being a ranger (camouflage FTW). Also, pretty sure sneak attacks from WS attack with SAs from any other class/prc...If they don't currently stack it's possibly a bug.

Fair enough but I still think it could use some work. Unless you just absolutely don't want to be a ranger I can't see why ranger/rogue multi wouldn't be better in every case. You get camo and swift tracker sooner I guess, but that's about it.

Why was Hierophant listed as a maybe? That's a pretty good class to enable divine multiclasses.

Hey there,
once upon a time I actually talked to Luna to implement the bear warrior and was very happy to see it had been implemented once I returned.
What makes it so dreadfully bad? Could you link the topic in which you debate about it?
The second thing, will the hunter class be implemented at all and if when will it be, I'd really like to play it.

Bearwarrior is pretty good despite the claims, you can try it out in JEGS module, it might be more defensive than what you expect though but that's how it was done.
Hunter is one of Rasael's projects, he's the one to speak to if you want updates.
Blackguard fix ? Easy, turn undead at 8 and dark blessing at 10.
