No. There are no filters employed whatsoever when it comes to the ADL, nor the link supplied which is what the ADL uses.

I'll demonstrate,

This is without the VPN:

http://www.shifty.com.br/sergio/bg2.PNG

This is using a VPN connected thru an IP in NY:

http://www.shifty.com.br/sergio/bg3.PNG

Good to note as well that the error given in game is the same 401 unauthorized error given when I try to access the game.bgtscc.net:8080 on my browser and fail to authenticate.

Is there anything I can do on my end to solve this so I can get in? I would download thru VPN, but I pay for bandwith on it and use it for work purposes, so I can't blow it all on a game patch.

Thanks,

Sérgio

Have you tried direct connecting to:

game.bgtscc.net

With nothing at all in the port?

I'm afraid my own skill is limited. If you've clicked the whitelist "click here" link, and are connecting to the right address, I'm not sure where the disconnect is. Maybe some other people here have some thoughts or ideas they could share?

First and foremost, try downloading the game through the ADL again. I've just made a change that might cause it to work better for the players that are having trouble connecting to it.

If that fails, and you still can't connect to http://game.bgtscc.net:8080, try using a different browser besides Chrome, updating Chrome to the latest version, or clearing your cached passwords/cookies/history before accessing it.

Let me know if none of that works for you.

Hey, thanks for the response. Still getting the same error in ADL.

Like I said before, for some reason its blacklisting my IP, asking for authentication when the ADL or I thru the browser try to access the files.

If I use an IP from the United States it lets me load the site and the ADL, but unfortunately the VPN that I have isn't suitable for large downloads.

No way to check with the hosting if maybe they are blacklisting south american ips for some reason?

Many thanks

We don't have any regional blocks at the moment--we have other traffic from South America regularly. Another possibility is that it's your own ISP null-routing your traffic for some reason.

It didn't work in Firefox or IE either?

Maybe just try a browser plug in that hides your ip like the below link?

Just an idea.

Have you tried downloading the files without the auto-downloader? Through this source?: http://game.bgtscc.net:8080/

@Kyon,

With a VPN it works, maybe i'll sign one up to play it eventually, can't spend more money right now though.

Maecius, check the screenshot, it asks for authentication when I try to use the direct link without a vpn

If it's still not working after a reset, you can download it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/na36ek8a65wpb ... t.trx?dl=0

You have to put it into Documents/NWN2/modules/Baldurs Gate TSCC

Ah, that's right. :( I forgot about that. I wish I knew what was wrong, but I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. If you can't get the files from any website, the only way would be to have a friend download them and send them to you directly through a messenger or something, I suppose? Assuming that would even work.
