i usually make an arrangement that i will carry if they identify all my items. and sometimes i sell on the spot my unidentified heavy items in the chest. ex. "i have a magical full plate here.. 2bags to whoever wants it."

Well, solution one would effectively nullify the sacrifice you make by making a 6 STR Wizard so you can pump other stats!
Bag Bag Weight Contents Weight Limit Contents Volume Limit Market Price
Type I 15 lb. 250 lb. 30 cu. ft. 2,500 gp
Type II 25 lb. 500 lb. 70 cu. ft. 5,000 gp
Type III 35 lb. 1,000 lb. 150 cu. ft. 7,400 gp
Type IV 60 lb. 1,500 lb. 250 cu. ft. 10,000 gp
Bags of Holding are actually suppose to weigh something! Who would'a thunk it?!?

So...can a 6 STR wizard even carry a 60 lb. bag without getting encumbered?!?

You can pretty much expect bags of holding are not going to be a thing here for the foreseeable future, a decision on something was already made a little while ago, just wait for it.

Steve - answer to your question is no but 6 str wizzard was just an example. I do not know if there is even one wizard with 6 str on the server. My own char has 10+ str.
Still he would be able to carry:
Type II bag (25 lb. 500 lb. 70 cu.)
without any problems and have his weight limit tripled.

Okay. But if Bags of Holding were all over the place, then probably many players would RCR and take a 6 STR wizard over their 10 STR wizard, because we all know what a PITA having anything less than 10 STR is on BGTSCC!!! 8-)

If this is what you are worried about then cap minimum STR at 8 - most races cannot go lower anyway. Even cap it at 10 and allow scores of 6 only to some sicly Palemaster after failed experiment. Still implementing some version of bags (as explained in 1st post they do not have to be actually mechanicly scripted existing items) will improve situation of 10-14 str characters by a lot. I seriously do not see how donkeys walking behind every character are more immersive.

I concede that bag of holding are lore appropriate for this setting.

I just disagree game mechanic wise to having them.

I propose Right-Click --> Send to trashbarrel (destroy item) ;)
