The Captain heads out of the Reyer Clinic's door and looks around the alcove. It looked pretty quiet over at the Fox's next door and she looks up to the sky squinting at the sky.
Well it's not pouring, yet....
She locks the Clinic behind, the first appointment not for several hours. she couldn't sleep, it happened a little often these days.
She pulls her cloak and hood around herself tighter to fight off the seeping wetness and makes her way through the alleyway and towards the docks.
The unnatural fog was gone and it was time to get her ship back....

Captain Vala Reyer walks through the docks, with a specific destination in mind. She had been talking to several retrieval teams about retrieving her ship, before decides on a group called the Salvage Team. The Salvage Team seems confident that with the position, the tides, season and now the dissipating of the green fog, that the ship would be able to be salvaged. The Salvage Team heads out with little delay. Captain Vala writes to those that had otherwise shown interest in helping with the retrieval (should it have been actual) and sends a letter to each with a thankful payment.
The Salvage Team is gone five days. Five long days as Captain Vala waits to hopefully see her ship again. On the 22nd of this moon Captain Vala gets word. She gathers the crew together and they head to Ulgoth’s Beard. They wait a few hours searching the horizon by the heat of the bonfire before a beautiful sight is seen slowly growing in size: the Relentless Storm.
The crew waits patiently, or less so, on the shore while the Salvage Team and Relentless Storm slowly crawls closer to the shore. The closer they get though, the more the damage of the Relentless is seen in detail. The explosion, the very explosion that ended the Ghost Ship, caused a fairly large hole in the port-side of the ship, the damage though not limited to the hole itself but spreading along the hull in large, profound gashes.
Upon appraisal of the damage, it is seen that it is extensive enough that it would need to sit in a dry-dock for over a 10-day period of time. Captain Vala pays the Salvage Team to take the ship to Baldur’s Gate where repairs could be made.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before repairs are underway in the dry-dock, Captain Vala talks with the Repair Team about a time-frame and cost. After talking to them, the time estimated until repairs are done is set for just under a 10-day. Captain Vala pays half up front and leaves the Team to start repairs.

The Repair Team contacts Captain Vala and invites her to come down and see the ship. She looks the ship over with it's repairs and remodelling, walking through it's entirety. She is very pleased with their work.
She informs them that she will invite a few over to look the ship over before finishing the payment.

On the 15th or Mirthul the crew of the Relentless Storm and the members of Foxy Memories met up on the beach of Ulgoths Beard. It was dawn, and looking out onto the beach, the foamy crests of the crashing waves onto the beach were the only sound other than the cry of the gulls. Ulgoths Beard was for the most part still asleep.
The sails were hoistened up on the tall masts. A puff of wind pulling the ship out to seas away towards Daggerford. The sun itself was just peeking out of the horizon, and its brilliant rays already shined brightly. The first orange hued rays of sunrise kiss the ships newly crafted planks. All the while everyone on board settled in, the edge of the island slowly disappeared from their sight, until all they saw was water surrounding them.
Finally the ship bobbed, tugging against the anchoring chain, black water meeting black land under millions of stars on the nightsky. They all stepped onboard the docks of Daggerford...

On this dark and star filled night a large and heavy trunk could be spotted as being carried out of the deep woods nearby Ulgoths Beard, through the small town, and then finally lifted up on the deck of the Relentless Storm by two of its crew members, Cristoff Lyer and Ronja Leonhart.
A heavy drop sounds as the trunk is set down within the storage room of the ship. It is locked and crew can see a letter left on top of it addressed as being for "Captain Vala Reyer". They head up deck again where casual conversation is had for a candlemark or so, before everyone splits up for the night.

Captain Vala and Ronja Leonhart, formerly the First Mate on the Relentless Storm, cross paths in Baldurs Gate, neither one expecting the other out and about in the rain that morning. It doesn't take long before their conversation returns to one from the previous day. Ronja Leonhart seems pleased with the offer extended to rejoin in the adventures of the Relentless Storm. Vala is both relieved, surprised and ecstatic! Her claim of joy was likely heard from the others in the courtyard as she bound the small few feet to Ronja crushing her in an enormous choking embrace!
Both needing to finish the original errands that needed attending to, they parted ways. There definitely was a new, energized spring to Vala's steps. She cannot seem to wait for the adventures waiting to be had, with the help of Ronja, First Mate of the Relentless Storm.

The redhead laughed heartily at the suddenly pounced hug, and promptly spread her arms out to squeeze Captain Vala right back. Vala's skipping step, her joy and renewed energy had Ronja smiling the entire time throughout their relatively quietly held conversation. The wait for the ships Captain was finally over, but most importantly she had reuinted with her friend, who was now safe and sound. When they parted ways again, she made sure to give Captain Vala a tall wave, before continuing her walk toward the locksmith. She could be seen walking down the streets deep in her own thoughts, likely surrounding what the seas had in store for The Relentless Storm now...

Vala Reyer pulls the hood close to her cheeks as the rain comes pelting down. Her quickened footsteps skip gently over the puddles forming between the cobblestones of the well-traveled alley-ways as she makes her way through the busy city. It doesn't take long before the lantern and sign comes into view marking the building in front of her as the Shelf of Many Books. Stepping inside, she shakes the rain droplets off her cloak and hood and checks to make sure her belongings are still securely tied about her person.
Once done she looks up and sees Janice, the Librarian there, and with a bright smile and, after a few pleasantries. speaks excitedly about her new research. Vala had recently taken up the search for old sailors journals and children's stories of the seas.
It is through these very journals and fairytale stories that she looks for adventures or signs of something different, something out of the ordinary.
Asking Janice for help she writes down any books or journals of note and then takes to the stacks to search through the many books throughout the rooms, a look of concentration, excitement and determination in her eyes.

She holds the book firmly in her hand, her attention renewed at the late hour at her find.

Right before Vala gets ready to leave the store, she spots a very pretty gypsy-like girl with curly black hair and an eyepatch (that surely has an amazing story behind it) come down the stairs with ink-colored stains on her hands and circles under her 'eye'. Assuming she was with the Book of Many Shelves, she began a conversation and asking for her help. Quickly it came to light that she didn't work there, and had actually been writing her own story down.

Very intriguing - Vala was definitely curious to read the tale of this woman.
Jen, the well-armored and exotically dashing lady, was willing to take a look at the book and was able to tell that the book itself was enchanted, which was surprising and all the more curious considering the contents of the book. She then suggested a few places I might get some magical scrolls and the like to help with the enchantment.
