Re: Leather armor model tintability
I viewed the tinting texture in multiple programs, it's working in my toolset as well. The texture has zero issues with alpha or anything of that nature.
My best guess is the server's MDB file for the armor is referencing the incorrect (Old) texture file. Because the color template is the same as the old texture.
It likely isn't working for anyone. The only other thing we may attribute it to, is that the texture may be tied to some races and not others. Though I do not think that is the case.

It worked for me, a couple days ago. It doesn't work anymore, though. I tried on another outfit and I couldn't replicate it.

Re: Leather armor model tintability
Would it be possible for me to give my current armor to Chambordini or Paul and have them color it in their toolset. Seems theirs are the only ones that can reliably do it at this point? Im desperate for that all black armor lol.

By toolset, I mean outside the server itself. Something on the server side has to be resolved. So it may be a short time before we track down what it is.
Also just for reference weekday races are your characters you tried the armor on?

I only have one character so i tried it only on one... how would trying it on a different character work? Btw any idea when the app changer will start letting you customize your bracers like gloves, this is also something i greatly look forward to and it was said to be in the works?

Re: Leather armor model tintability
Yes, this has been fixed and submitted but not yet implemented. The texture never worked properly despite what some had said, even I.
It was tinting parts of the clothing based on skin color, so you'd see Drow with the ability to wear it in all black for example. It was a mix up on how I assorted out the colors on the tint.
So hopefully you'll see the fixed item soon enough.
