I don't know that they were ever disallowed so much as they never worked. If I recall Endelyon tried to fix KEMO Auction to allow items with SR several months ago, but it was unsuccessful.

That said, SR items are vastly overpriced, all you need to do is find an SR 14 item to see that (Any NPC vendor will offer whatever their max gold amount is for them). We would likely see all sorts of low-ish SR items if it were fixed which would only exacerbate the issue of the 60 item limit being constantly reached. SR14-18 items are relatively common, then there is the Imaskari shield (20 SR, +2 EBM) alongside lesser amulet of the master, etc... While it would be nice if it could be fixed it would likely also need some solution to handle the larger influx of available items.

How about solution like this: When there are 60 items in category Mudd would simply accept more valuable item removing cheapest one from his list then giving back cheap item and fee to user who posted it (when he next time clicks "retrive"). Does that sound like something possible to develop?
IC-ly it makes a lot of sense that "Mudds" want to make more money but do not have unlimited storage space.

I think I would prefer not changing anything to potentially having my items removed from the auction list without my knowledge simply because it was the lowest valued item. Just because an item's value is low, doesn't mean there's no demand for it after all. I've seen rings of hiding sell pretty well on there, even though they're probably some of the lowest-valued items by the system.

bad example as they might be the lowest value, but they aren't the cheapest, usually ring of hiding +6 sells for ~10,000 gold, there are plenty of items listed for less than that.

Of course if Mork was talking about the lowest valued item I would agree, but my assumption would be he means the lowest priced item as in items that the players posted for the least amount of gold, rather than the system assigned value.
