Re: PvP heavy character concept
I actually shifted the topic towards a PvP centric build.
From what I understood the only really potent way to go in PvP seems to be a caster type, I might however misjudge the situation and am happy to be corrected or blessed with further advice.
My current idea is a drow Blood Mage, drow is set in stone btw as I will want to play in the UD.
Things I am considering are Arcane Scholar to gain improved quicken but only really if that would allow me to quicken really key PvP spells which I am not really sure off atm.
Blood Mage for scars and possibly the blood stored potions although I am not sure it's all that useful.
Shadow Adept to improve DCs for Necromancy and illusions.
Archmage for the spell like abilities maybe even for the Caster Levels.
Probably shadow dancer for the defensive aspects.
If I am on the wrong track please let me know

Re: PvP heavy character concept
Actually I had great success in PvP with Ranger 26/4 Fighter archer, dexterity based. There are much better players than me here, but I never lost a fight with that guy - meaning that even when I was overwhelmed I could always utilize huge MS/Hide and use HiPS (most of the fights are outdoors).
That build was tailored more towards PvP, though, with all FE groups in PC categories. Second One Shot and Blinding Speed were invalubable, so make sure to pick these two if you go down this route.
