It is unlikely that they will be changed.
But evasion is a bug, huh. Love the hate for none caster melee classes.
There is always a but.

I personally find the cave stalker a rather dark class - vermin, phase spider transformation? Also as a human ranger I am unable to pick it.

You can only take it if you have Darkvision - so dwarves, half-orcs, Shadowdancers and other Darkvision-havers can take it on the surface but with limited efficacy.

Palemaster level 3 also gets darkvision.
