That is not what I have experienced. I have always cast premonition before shadow shield and premonition DR gets used first.mrm3ntalist wrote: The only current issue that i have seen now is with DR. The only thing that is left then is that the BM DR + the SS dr + the premo DR messes the order. ITs a blood magus thing it seems
Mendel - Villi of En Dharasha Everae | Nikos Berenicus - Initiate of the Mirari | Efialtes Rodius - Blood Magus | Olaf Garaeif - Dwarven Slayer

Exactly the same.Avowed wrote:I've been toying with the idea of trying out a dwarven defender character. Karond's DD has been a pretty well-regarded build, but with evasion no longer working in medium/heavy armor, how would you build a DD now?
Evasion isn't a big advantage to that build, nor to most builds. The change won't matter. The reason to get evasion wasn't for its effect, but because it qualifies for expose weakness. Since expose weakness isn't changing, and it's arguably the most powerful melee ability in the game, changing out evasion for anything else makes most builds weaker whether they're dwarven defenders or not.
Expose weakness ensures that you hit with every attack, particularly against tough targets after a few rounds, or makes you hit at all, plus it provides damage. Saying no to expose weakness is like saying no to doubling your damage output. It helps to land hits, criticals and in tandem with other skills, allows you to bypass things like mirror image or epic dodge.
Melee without expose weakness will always be a bit lackluster in its potential, unless of course, there is a big nerf coming to that feat as well.
