If only allowing appearance changes in certain areas makes sense from an exploit-prevention vantage, great, but please ensure that its easily accessible (not in the nexus, not in one city) so as to make sense from an RP standpoint as well.
and how awful would that be to have there be a special shield skin drop (1/100 chance no trade) in beating the white? or a special helm skin for beating chaos? is that gonna kill your RP? NO! it may not be for you, but it could be for someone else. IDK... me.
