Ahh so with the pally buffs, I'd have +4 enhancement bonus and +4 sacred bonus to strength, for a total of +8, but the enhancement bonus wouldn't stack with anything from items, so ending on an odd number and hoping for +3 str would be pointless, yes? That's what I'd been thinking.

Also, with only a moderate charisma (and so not a huge bonus to saves) realistically speaking, would I still be failing any reflex saves I had to make, and so I'd be better off putting all those epic feats into strength instead of going for steadfast/epic resilience?

Thanks to your Paladin spells, you have no need for a +3 Strength item. Plus I remember it being that you needed to cast Bull's Strength before Righteous Fury for the two to stack. It might have changed now...

As for Steadfast Determination/Epic Resilience, Your spell 'Shield of Warding' should give you +5 shield AC and +5 Reflex saves. Couple that with potions of Lesser Heroism, your lowish charisma modifier to saves, and you should be able to take half damage on several low DC mob spells or traps.

But personally, I would just go for higher strength. It gives more damage per hit, hence you have higher chance to disturb enemy caster's concentration. You could just charge in to get that +1d8 damage per hit with Dire Charge. Not to mention that you will be more likely to knock down your enemies and deny them a turn of spell casting, or succeed with your shield slams.

Edit: And if we look at my current Barbarian/Warrior of Dorkness, sword and board, he just tanks. But casters do give him a trouble because his damage per hit is not high enough to disrupt their spell casting. But when he switches over to a two-handed weapon, turns on Northlander Hewing, he can disrupt enemy caster very easily. After all he does 2.5*(strength modifier) worth of damage per hit, and the damage tends to fall beyond the reach of a mob caster's concentrantion skill.

Dealing lots of attacks with little damage will not disrupt spellcasting, only large amounts of damage, or being knocked down, or slammed by a massive shield.

Therefore, your paladin should approach combat with the class cannon mentality. I need to take down the enemy before they take me down, and as Heal as a class skill... You turn those +1 Healing Kits to something that heals 60-100 hit points even in the middle of combat.

Characters built for winning PvP just stinks of OOC pwnage attitude to me. That's not something I want to encourage or promote, as it puts the focus more on player competitiveness rather than character stories.

And lets be honest... High level NWN2 PVP is kind of like this fight...

Not to mention that any discussion about PvP usually just falls down to one stating that they have have X, and the other saying that they do Y, which is in turn is countered by Z, and so on, and so on.
