nwn2db shows that the DC is increased.. Might be where the confusion is stemming from.

Red Wizards of Thay do get +1 spell DC on their preferred school though.

Should add +1 dc for specialization... would help gishes and low int wizard builds.

Even with that +1 DC, you still wouldn't be where those builds are because they would get it too!

Yup. Definitely don't need to boost those builds anymore from what I understand.
