Fix Ew? Make evasion a feat?

Maybe when casters can't cast/stack elemental immunities and +save spells.

Post edit: and make sanctuary (etherealness) at least a will save. Alsoi, waifoo says some or all of the +save spells don't stack currently, so I could be wrong there.

I'm not all that well-versed in PVP strategies, but I do think it's kind of lame that you can stack elemental immunities and have all of them at once. I think it'd be cooler to have to choose one at a time, or just use one of the lesser versions of energy resistance like Energy Buffer that give resistance to all types up to a certain amount of damage absorbed.

On my level 23 wizard with Superior Resistance and extended Greater Heroism I can get all my saves up in the mid to late 20s more or less, so I can see how that combo is pretty OP for an already powerful class (Wizard).

I'd be okay with Etherealness and/or Sanctuary being a Will Save. Right now it's a really easy auto-escape from anything I've faced.

I don't play a melee character but it would be cool to see non-GISH fighter types get some more love.

I always thought it was odd that if you put a level 30 fighter against a level 30 cleric, bard, druid, wizard or sorcerer they really don't stand a chance in most cases.

Of course, I'm of the mind that balance should supercede lore everytime, personally. That's just my take.

imo, leave it as is

is necessary to multi-class to get evasion on a non evasion class. casters lose CL to achieve evasion. a fighter loses BAB to achieve it. they all have to use light armor/robes to use it, giving up ac. IE, everyone that wants evasion has to sacrifice something, therefore it's fine as is
