a cleric of only 3 levels will not be turning much. basic skeletons in the graveyard is about it.

I figure I'd be using its more for EDM/DM anywho. I figure it'll be useful at lower levels, IE those basic skeletons, but otherwise the focus isn't to turn everything, but rather use those turn undead attempts to empower my melee capabilities.

Unless you want to spam shield wands to get your AC high enough I suggest going WM 5 and using a shield instead of FB 5.

Greatsword is part of the build. I suppose I'll be spamming shield wands to get my AC up, or using monkey grip (which doesn't seem like too good of an idea). I feel it'd only take away from what I'm trying to make if I turned around and removed that. I appreciate the advice nonetheless, and I'll take a look at it.

Before starting the actually PC you best calculate some values:

AC? AB? Saves? DMG per Round? maybe check HP?

To your initial concept of a CHA Front-Line Fighter also fits very well the Bard Class. Even a dip is mostly welcome in most builds (like Bard3 or 8).

EDM and Evasion are for PowerBuilds. And you want one if trying the server the first time. It allows you to survive some unknown regions and see more of the server. Its also encouraging if you dont die 5 times on every map.

I made some CHA Fighter build a while ago for a new player. I ll make it public and share it with you. The idea was an evil Character.... You can switch BG for Cleric... that will allow you to not pick cleave as feat and put no skill points in Hide and M.Silently. It will reduce your saves though.... The build cant be lawful because of Bard lvls. And must be evil if you go for BG. If you pick cleric your domains could give you more feats which you dont have to pick then and can pick other feats.

The skill points in listen can be shared between some conversation skills. Then dont pick Amplify as 1st lvl spell. The bardic inspiration "Inspire Competence" also gives you +2 points to all skills if activated.

The build description still seems to be up to date. So you can also get some information out it.

Actually just saw Cleric is a bad option here, as it will give you an XP Penality for to many base classes.

Welcome to the Server! :D

Thanks! this gives me a bit more insight into what I'm trying to do!

Your welcome!

It´s quite a bit reliant on good gear though. Which can expensive if you are new. Although its all sold in shops and not dependent on drop luck.

There are also powerbuilds which dont rely on gear much. Maybe thats also an option for you.

Edit: Thought about a babarian?

https://wiki.bgtscc.net/index.php?title=Barbarian

They are buffed on BGTSCC, non-lawful, intimidating Frontliners. They ll get Evasion(only works in light Armor) and usually you just take 20 lvl Barbarian. Then you can get some other goodies, like DivineChampion,Cleric or BG for EDM, Bard for Skill and inspirations....

Have a lot of variety.
