Second, if there is potentially a problem because a group is needed, then can we not introduce hireables?
I'm not goin' to touch the loot aspect of this, but if there is a problem with not having enough bodies (warm or digital) for a problem, then bein' able to pay one (or multiple) NPCs to guard you should, in theory, be possible. Hell, the FIST is a mercenary company, and Baldur's Gate paid the WHOLE DAMNED COMPANY to do nothing but be the town's guards. If the Dukes can pay someone to watch their backside, then why can't adventurers?
Hireables are not going to be very useful because they will be controlled by "amazing" neverwinter AI, and not by yourself.
Sigil has system of hireables it... is not very useful with exception of golem masters (who craft very durable golems... that die for real, by the way).
If I were able to DIRECTLY control a party of 2 or 3 people from the same client, I'd definitely go for that option - that would be quite challenging and being challenging would make it amazingly interesting. However, hirable will be an equivalent of having a summon, and it is not worth it. I know what summons can do, they do not help you with situatiosn where you need a group. Besides, one can simply play a thaumaturge if they want to have a crowd.
Anyway, due my legendary bad luck when it comes to finding people to interact with and groups to join, I usually try to roll something that is self-sufficient and can survive withotu assistance.
Multiboxing approach, if it were viable for me, would allow more interesting and less optimized character options.

You and your friends will be completely indistinguishable from a multiboxer.

that is why i shrugged it off too.
but familiars/summons can't loot chests and skeletons a second time.
thats when i stopped shrugging it off, and posted here.
There are clever ways to maximize loot (some of which feel like cheating) without multiboxing.
You do realize that you can simply buy 50 neverwinter licenses, roll 50 favored souls of garagos, and serial loot the same dungeon with all of them in turns? Think of all the money you're going to earn before you go crazy from grinding one week later.
There are other approaches as well.
Anyway, you're being distracted by non-issue, and "solving" this issue will not improve quality of the game in any way.
I don't understand why would you even care how much loot somebody has to begin with. There will be always people who have more money and more loot than you. ALWAYS. Doesn't matter if they multibox or not.
If you want to be like them, put work into it, like Calodan said.
