See this is where i get a little bit annoyed in certain situations. For example if you are a member of a Sharan cell or an assassin guild and defect/get caught spying you should be killed off end of story. It doesnt matter how "skilled" you are there are precious few people who could outrun/fight back against such forces.
In these situations all it leads to is metagaming that ruins any RP for the remaining members of said guilds and to be honest even for the character involved, if your character is caught out as an evil doer and made public it absolutely aggitates my soul to see them running around in public as though there is nothing wrong. I dont care if your mind was wiped or "youre a changed man" If you betrayed an evil guild that i was a part of you should be dead and as a character.
There should be no such thing as an ex Sharan, Malarite.. Bhaalist.. assassin.. murderer etc etc. I absolutely hate the way these situations are handled. Give them a free RCR or something, let them make another character to be part of the guild as a new recruit if they want but do not allow them to wander around as a potential risk to the guild.
Part of the risk of being in such guilds should be that you can and will loose your character if you are caught out. ((As someone who plays a Sharan character if i was to ever lose favor with Shar or be exposed i would be perfectly fine with being killed off or chased out of the coast. There is absolutely no way in hell that i could ever take on the entire cell by myself and live to tell the tale.))

Why would you do it by yourself?
