While Exordius is definitely (NOT) the strongest he has survived despite the do-gooders although this probably has more to do with him being smart enough not to advertise it or get caught then anything else. People who run around flaunting being a necro wont last long although they can be good for starting player driven events like the last one, (Im looking at you Alkor.)

Btw if you want the strongest necro build ask what Israe's is...

Sounds interesting when you say Israe was the strongest, with Strongest being quite subjective.

Dont know what it is other then it wins 9 out of 10 of all fights that occur.

I could imagine if Palemaster was accessible through divine spells and if it offered spellcasting progression for Clerics as well, then I think this could certainly be one the truly powerful builds, maybe even the strongest.

Cleric / Thaumaturge / Dread Master / Pale Master.

Thaumaturge offers full spellcasting progression.
Dreadmaster offers full spellcasting progression.
Pale Master offers a 6/10 spellcasting progression (with practiced spellcasting CL can be recovered.

So something like a Cleric 5 / Thaumaturge 5 / DM 10 / PM 10 - with a potential CL of 30 or more.
It would be able to cast spells in full plate without any potential spellcasting failure as a result of wearing armor.
Access to Domains that grant powers and spells.
Gets turn or rebuke undead.
Will be able to cast 9'th level spells.

Thaumaturge:
Augment Summoning: +4 enhancement bonus to str and con to summons.
Extended Summoning: Doubles duration of summons and stacks with extend meta magic.
Contingent Summoning: Gains the spell like ability to use the highest known summoning spell once per day as a spell like ability
Planar Cohort: Any creature called for through a Planar Calling or Binding spell will serve the caster permanently.

Dread Master:
Immunity to Fear
Dominating Aura: Enemies within 30 feet of a dreadmaster suffer a -4 on saving throws against fear effects.
Rodcraft
3xFear per day.
Special Cohort: Helmed Horror would make sense.

Pale Master:
Darkvision
Animate Dead
Summon Undead
Summon Greater Undead
Bone Skin 3: +6 Natural Armor class bonus (with full plate +4 its ac 30 minimum)
Deathless Mastery: Immunity to Critcal hits.
Deathless Master's touch: Deathtouch 3x/day.
Deathless Vigor: +4 to Fortitude saves.
Tough as Bone:
- Immunity to: Hold, Paralysis & Stun effects.
Undead Graft x3: Paralyze Attack.

That build has no arcane spellcasting class to qualify for palemaster. Wizard, sorcerer or bard only.

Pale Master alone with its critical hit immunity along with extra AC would be a reason enough to ban it from EDM Favored Souls and the like. But in a hypothetical world, it would be a quite potent summoner.

But as things stand... Perhaps Bard 20/Pale Master would be closest to it. I mean, if a Pale Master's Animate Dead spell summons a swarm of undead and you could have those along your Summon Greater Undead, it could be a quite nasty combination. Bards have a song that share the highest BAB among all members of the party and thus your potential six summons could all have the BAB of 20. Not to mention even higher AB and damage thanks to Inspire Courage.

Now, combine it with high charisma to give your summons some buffs, and Mind Fog with the Mass Hold Person spell.

It was mentioned in the other thread... But it could be fun if it works like that.

Oooh wow. I really, really hope not! Can't say I've heard it even being discussed in QC, and I think we'd strongly advice against it!

Yeah, I'm not completely sure, I've been trying to find the thread since - the only one I could find that has any relation to having the casting requirement changed like that, is the Gondsman. Currently the Palemaster isn't really all that viable on a wizard, as the BAB is very low. It is possibly to reach BAB21 but it would be at a sacrifice, and as far as I know that the absolute minimum for a level 30 to be able to hit.
